EYBL Session I Recap: Georgia 15u Standouts

The first stop of the Nike EYBL circuit brought some of the top young talent in the country to Atlanta, and Georgia's 2029 class made its presence felt. Here's a look at some of the standout Georgia prospects in the EYBL 15u Division.    The state's top prospect in the 2029 class, Leonard is a wing with ideal positional size, length, and athleticism. The freshman earned All-Region honors at Grayson and continues to trend upward with his production and overall impact. A true three level scorer, he can put pressure on the rim, operate in the midrange, and is showing steady improvement as a perimeter shooter. Leonard averaged 15.3 points and 6.3 rebounds while leading JET Academy to a 4-0 showing, further reinforcing his status as one of the top young prospects in the state.     Another 2029 standout for JET Academy, Hudson averaged 13 points and 7.3 rebounds over four games. He brings a unique combination of size, skill, and athleticism, with the ability to handle the ball and make plays for others. His perimeter shot continues to improve, and he is at his best attacking defenders, getting into the paint, and creating offense. With a good feel for the game and clear versatility, Hudson shows plenty of upside as a long term prospect.     Terry is a stat sheet stuffer and a high level athlete who consistently impacts the game in multiple ways. He excels in transition and is relentless attacking the rim, making him difficult for defenders to keep out of the paint. The freshman also stands out on the defensive end, where his athleticism and intensity allow him to disrupt plays and guard multiple positions. With his production, motor, and two-way ability, Terry looks poised to emerge as one of the state's top prospects in the 2029 class.     Moore is a prospect whose stock is clearly on the rise after leading the Stars in scoring at 17.5 points per game over the weekend. Planning to reclass to the 2029 class, he's a scoring, ball handling guard who can create his own offense with ease. He's a confident shot maker both off the catch and off the bounce, and his high level quickness makes him difficult for defenders to keep out of the paint. Moore plays with aggression and confidence, and his ability to generate offense puts him firmly on the radar as a rising prospect.     An extremely talented freshman and elite level athlete, Whitaker averaged 11.8 points per game over the weekend for the [program_tooltip program_id='2078446' first='Georgia' last='Stars']. He's very difficult for defenders to keep out of the paint, using his explosiveness and quickness to consistently put pressure on the rim. His perimeter shot is improving, adding to his offensive versatility. Defensively, he has all the tools to be a high level impact player with his athleticism, length, and activity. With his physical tools and developing skill set, Whitaker is a prospect with significant upside.
