The last two weekends, PH NorCal was at Open Gym Premier in Oakland CA. The Elite Spring Hoop Challenge was April 10-12, the Adidas 3stripe Gold event was April 17-19. There were a lot of teams with standouts prospects playing back to back weekends. We thought it would be better to combine the players who stood out from the two events.

[player_tooltip player_id='2838675' first='Sam' last='Newmeyer']: He's in a different role this spring, looking more like a prospects who's going to be aggressive with the ball in hand putting up shots. He's a former point guard standing 6'5, good handles to create off the dribble, sees the court, a willing passer. He was actively looking to put points on the board, attacking defenders early off the dribble, and after moving the ball around. He knocked down multiple 3's throughout the event. He had strong drive using balance and footwork to finish around the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='2136801' first='Seve' last='Archuleta']: As usual he's a solid performer, as he continues to sharpen his overall skill set. He's effective around the basket using the backboard with some touch, scoring from different angles, and powering up. In the spring he seems to be expanding his play away from the basket, handling more along the perimeter, brought it up a few times. He's using his dribble to make moves to get closer, he hits the short jumper, He's willing to put up 3's.

Ezra Rielly: In the spring he seems to be developing his play way from the basket. He's shooting 3-point shots from the corners, and around the perimeter when open. He's using the dribble to attack from different angles, high-mid, along the baseline, and perimeter with some success. He's good around the basket, excellent rebounder, he's bringing the ball up himself. His size and length gets him a couple of blocks in a game. He can defend out on the perimeter and inside. He could be set for a breakout Spring.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352695' first='Brenden' last='Hawkins']: He's still finding his way with this group, but did have stretches where he effected the game. He directed the offense, showed his vision, and excellent passing spottin open mates, and moving the ball around the court. He gets to his spots, there's some efficiency when it comes to knocking down shots. He spots up around the perimeter when off ball, uses his body on the dribble drive getting into his mid-range. He has a solid body can handle the bumps, on drives to the basket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2862924' first='Anthony' last='D' Aquisto']: He's definitely a threat to knock down 3's if left open, he's proven that. He's added a few pieces to his game, looks longer, and stronger, not just a catch and shoot guy . He's bringing the ball up court, sees the court better, he's making moves to get by defenders. He's runs the offense at times, a ball mover. He moves without the ball, makes good cuts to get open. He's defending better, fighting through screens, boxing out before helping rebound. He'll take on a bigger role next season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352700' first='Teddy' last='Xanthopoulos']: He's an experienced player, makes plays one way or the other. He can play multiple positions at this level 3-5. He's a good ball handler, excellent passer, sees the court. He makes plays outside of the key, finding cutters, has good passing around the perimeter, he'll feed the post. He has some moves off the dribble to get himself in position to score. He plays on balance, planting two feet, gathering himself, then scoring around the rim. He can be a target posting up. We've seen him hit 3's from the top.

[player_tooltip player_id='2352702' first='Bentley' last='Morrow']: He transformed his game a while back, now he's a 6'5 point guard in the making. He showing he can take on the task of being a facilitator during parts of the game, while actively contributing in other ways off ball. He's taking care of the ball, heads up in transition, delivering strong passes up court and around the perimeter. He's getting into the paint for jumpers, and layups, finishing off two around the basket, has 3-point range.
