Class of 2026: Key Players in Louisiana Basketball

As we wrap up our final rankings for the Class of 2026, we begin by spotlighting some of the top players in the state, highlighting both their skill sets and their accomplishments. These athletes have stayed committed to long-term development and are hitting their stride at the right time. Each of them projects as a high-impact player at the next level and will help shape how Louisiana basketball is viewed, giving college coaches a clear look at the talent and competitiveness the state consistently produces on the court.    [player_tooltip player_id='2894296' first='Jace' last='Conrad'] is one of the most complete scorers in the state, and another next level immediate impact player. He is the perfect size to run point at the next level. He is a do it all guard with a flare to his game along with his strong fundamental skill set. He is a scorer, but makes the right play as well. Conrad is one of the best in the state, and collegiate competition will bring out even more in this louisiana hooper.     [player_tooltip player_id='1543675' first='Roderick' last='Tezeno'] is going to play at USC, but he has to get a nod for his contributions to louisiana basketball and his high school program. He is a gifted athlete with two sport next level abilities and watching him play was always a show. He is set for gridiron glory, but remains one of the best in the boot.     [player_tooltip player_id='1679403' first='Kevin' last='White'] is an easy pick for collegiate next level impact. At 6'4 with a fully developed game and mature on court demeanor, coaches will enjoy pushing him to do more. Watching White when he is in that mode is something special, and he eclipsed the 30 point mark in multiple games while involving his team mates and doing all the small things. He is a favorite in scouting circles and destined for next level success with a selfless mentality and special skill and athleticism. Whether this season or next season, we will watch him play high level Division l Basketball.     [player_tooltip player_id='2415393' first='Le'Damian' last='George'] has remained in the Top 10 due to his overall consistency and on court ability. He can just do a lot of things on the court at a high level, but more than that he does it all with high energy. His trajectory is still climbing and he will be fun to watch at the next level for sure.     [player_tooltip player_id='1543647' first='Cooper' last='Nelson'] has been a North Louisiana favorite, but one of the most written about athletes on the PrepHoops Platform. Any event that he attended with a PrepHoops Scout in the building resulted in some sort of recognition about his skill, will and desire to win. Nelson is a recent ULM Commit, and has pledged his part to bring back winning to the program. I have never been to a ULM game, but that will change when “Super Cooper” takes his talent to the Division I ranks to prove that hard work wins everytime. Grab your popcorn.
