2027 Rankings Update: Top 100

These are prospects trending up in the Top 100 with an opportunity to rise in the next rankings updated with a good Spring and Summer. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2906761' first='Kayvon' last='Bowie']: He's has some natural strength to work with, good activity around the basket going for points, and rebounds regularly. He averaged 15.4pts, 7.3r. He'll use a dribble or two to balance himself, then take it up strong for dunks and other finishes around the rim, tap ins, and put backs. He's a strong rebounder on both ends, runs the court can be difficult to stop going forward, gives good effort defending his position. He's an improving ball handler away from the basket. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2443117' first='Gene' last='Castillo']: A good all around guard with a good 3-point shot he can drop from different spots on the court. He squares up, shot ready with a good release on the catch and shoot, or will use one dribble, and a side step move to get his shot off. He's a good ball handling guard, can run the point. He can create his shot opportunities with quick dribbles, and other moves to freeze the defender, for a mid-range off the dribble, or get to the basket without taking too many hits to finish around the basket. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='3312011' first='Zach' last='Bualat']: He does a solid job of settling the team in half-court sets, keeps his dribble live, uses ball fakes, moves the ball around the perimeter, makes good post entry passess bounce, or lob. He plays at a good pace, under control. He has range, can knock down open 3's on the catch and shoot, hit the open mid-range, gets the ball high off the glass over blockers on the drive. He's an alert defender, off ball helper, works to stay in front. First team all league 12.5, 3.3a</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2136700' first='David' last='Isola']: On a team that lacked size Isola showed he could be productive from different areas on the court. He got a lot of touches in and around the post, cutting across the lanes, and working the high and mid-post facing up for the short jumpers, or using his solid body and a few dribbles. Whether he's working from the post, or along the perimeter, he has nice rip throughs, hard dribbles for strong drives to the basket, playing through the bumps. His 21.9, 8.8r led the team in those areas, with 2.3a.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2226788' first='Devyn' last='Ranola']: Works mostly off ball in this 5 guard set. He's equipped with point guard tools standing 5'10. He has quality handles, and moves to attack from the sides, along the perimeter. He can finish with floaters, and paint jumpers. He's an excellent ball mover, makes good cuts without the ball. He's a threat to knock down open 3's, has the handles and vision to see up court for long passes. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2877958' first='Davi' last='Freitas']: With a full season under his belt he showed steady progress. He's an improving combo guard for now, he shares point guard responsibilities on this team, before moving off to the sides. He has a good first, always looking to attack the paint, he'll kick it out, or swoop to the hoop from different areas, he'll go left or right off the dribble, get good lift on the fadeaway paint jumper. 3rd team all-league.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2917471' first='Jack' last='Herman']: He's a shooting guard with a good shot, has to be accounted for from the 3-point line. He stands ready for the catch and shoot, roams the perimeter, will slash and cut, hit the paint jumper. He runs wide in transition, can finish. He's a ball mover, will find cutters to the basket, or find shooters in the corner. He helps with the team rebounding. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>[player_tooltip player_id='2851837' first='Sammy' last='Cetoute']: A thick body guard, can run the point at times with good passing, but seems more fit to work off ball using his size and dribble to create his own shot opportunities. He has range to drop 3-pointers behind the line working along the perimeter. He'll come down without hesitation in transition for a rhythm 3 he can hit. He makes good use of the body for drives to the basket. 11pts a game.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
