20 Difference-Makers: The Stage

With high-level competition and intense matchups throughout the event, plenty of players rose to the occasion and made their presence felt when it mattered most. Now, we're spotlighting the true Difference-Makers—the ballers who consistently impacted the game and helped drive winning for their teams.   So, what separates a Difference-Maker? It goes beyond the box score. It's about doing whatever the game calls for—making the extra pass, locking in defensively, rebounding in traffic, creating plays for others, and stepping up in key moments. These are the players who bring value in every phase and elevate the group around them. Aidan had a standout weekend and he changed the game in multiple ways. He averaged an impressive 18 ppg and led the team in rebounding. Against WeDifferent 812, Aidan went off for 25 points and 11 rebounds. This kid was dominant at The Stage.     He runs with WeDifferent 812 16U. Boyd proved to be a difference-maker at The Stage. He showed that by scoring a clutch game-winning layup. Boyd led the team in rebounding every game and was the voice of the team. Aiden is also a top defender who dominates matchups much larger than him because of his toughness.     Hoops with Team Soil and was a difference-maker at The Stage. Levy averaged 9 ppg, 4 rpb, and 1 spg. He got downhill and attacked the paint with ferocity. Ben is an excellent "team guy" who defends bigger wings and smaller guards. Levy was also a very good on-ball defender. He was extremely impactful by playing within himself and under control.     Brody shot the ball very well from three-point land all weekend long. He came through time after time to help extend the lead or keep the team in games. His elite outside shooting led to easy mid-range J's and layups after the D started to overplay. Brody changed the game on the offensive end of the floor.     He ran with the [program_tooltip program_id='2075603' first='Kentucky' last='Defenders'] and was a difference-maker. Wagner gobbled up a ton of rebounds and scored with tough putback buckets. He was challenged with defending the opposing BIGs and did well despite being undersized. He only played two games, but he definitely changed the game. When Cade was not on the floor, he was certainly missed.     Cole led the team in assists and scoring in 3 of the 4 games. He made several hustle plays that made the difference for the Defenders. This kid is not afraid to dive on the floor headfirst for loose balls. He was also challenged with defending the top 1 or 2 guards for the opposing team and stepped up to the plate.     The young buck played up two age divisions, changed the game, was a difference-maker, and performed like a dude. Weaver averaged the second-most points on the team (14.6 ppg). He also passed well and averaged 3 apg. On Saturday, Conner went off for 21 points in one of the games. He was exceptional at attacking closeouts hard. Weaver was also a spark on defense.     Mr. Johnson made a huge difference on the inside. He cleaned the glass and boarded up. Johnson made great plays to the rim and rallied big runs. He was a playmaker for [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'].     He was a difference-maker for Michigan Unified Basketball Club 15U. Duey was a standout point forward at The Stage. He did it all with high energy and was a top rebounder in every game. Drake sets hard screens and sets up teammates for easy scores in transition. He pushes the ball hard and fast. Duey is a thrill in up-tempo. He is tough as nails! He does not always get the recognition he deserves, but is one of the most important players on his team.     He runs with WeDifferent 812. He really stood out in the last game of the event and was a difference-maker. Eastwood flashed as a standout PG while finishing with 27 points, 5 assists, and 3 steals. He completely took over and controlled the game.     Graham was a two-way difference-maker and playmaker. Domidion dropped dimes, found shooters, and led the team in assists at The Stage. He also cleaned up the glass, crushed on the boards, and led the team in rebounding.     He picks up 94-feet and makes it difficult for the opposing guards. Many of them have a hard time crossing half-court. Isabell did great work finding shooters, keeping the team under control, and generally making everyone's life easier. This kid is a gamer, Jhamarion finishes every game!     He runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2135129' first='Griffin' last='Elite'] UA Rise and played tough on-ball defense from 80-feet and in. Jamir's effort and intensity made a difference on defense while forcing quick shots and TO's. His quickness allowed him to get downhill and score at the rim or draw defenders to open up shots for his teammates.     He showed in a big way at The Stage. Allen erupted in the final game of the event for 34 points and six triples. Kaiden carried his squad in Indy and stood out as a difference-maker.     He hoops with [program_tooltip program_id='2135129' first='Griffin' last='Elite'] 17U UA Rise and was a difference-maker at The Stage. Kayden rebounded at a high level and defended much bigger players effectively. Bruce impacted the game in a super positive way without scoring a ton.     He runs with WeDifferent 812. Hardy was everywhere on the court all over The Stage. He changed the game with blocks and high-flying dunks, while bringing ubiquitous energy. Landon was a difference-maker and a game-changer.     He put up solid numbers while averaging 11 ppg, 7 rpg, and 2.5 bpg. Quinn played with great energy and was a difference-maker as a rim protector. Chandler also rebounded well and made a ton of hustle plays. He hoops with a high IQ and impacted the team in a positive way. Quinn translates as a talented hybrid 4-man at the next level.     He ran with [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] 16U P32. Bowling was great on defense at The Stage. He also made a big difference as a game manager. Bowling made game-winning hustle plays to start big runs and push the team forward.     Fuller runs with [program_tooltip program_id='2076451' first='D1' last='Indiana'] P32 17U and is up to 5'9". He was relentless on defense all weekend long in the half-court and full-court. Fuller also got paint touches on the offensive end to create shots for teammates and easy layups for himself. Keep track of this difference-maker as the club season moves along.     He stepped up on the defensive end at The Stage. Craig rebounded exceptionally well and he boarded his best in big moments. Craig was also a knockdown shooter all weekend. Wyatt cashed a game-winning triple in double overtime against Team Flyght UA Rise.
