Who stood out in the PSAL 1A, 2A, and 3A Championships

The PSAL Championships has concluded and crowned their champions, giving those schools full bragging rights across the city. The competition then continued as PSAL champions faces of the CHSAA champions, creating a series of highly competitive crossover matchups that extended the battle for supremacy beyond league play.    He attacked the glass aggressively, grabbing offensive rebounds and creating second chance opportunities. He hit a spot up three from the right corner and showed he could put the ball on the floor to draw fouls. He made a high catch into a straight line drive, and he was able to rebound and immediately trigger the break, pushing the ball down the lane for a layup. His activity, physicality, and ability to pressure the defense made him a consistent impact player.     He used his length to contest shots and controlled the paint with constant activity. He rebounded outside his area, showed strong awareness, and consistently drew attention inside, often leading to fouls because of how aggressively he operated around the rim. Offensively, he made a clean catch into a reverse finish, added steady production through his paint activity, and established himself as a dominant interior presence. His impact on both ends of the floor stood out, and his overall performance in the championship earned him game MVP.     He is a left handed, high energy guard who made impact plays across the floor. He jumped passing lanes for steals, crashed the offensive glass, and consistently found ways to get into the paint off the dribble to score or draw fouls. He knocked down a catch and shot three from the right wing and finished a right hand layup in transition. He showed strong playmaking instincts that created easy opportunities for teammates, and his feel for the game made him an effective and well rounded playmaker.     Earning game MVP he constantly attacked downhill and finished through contact, using his strength to draw fouls and control drives. He showcased his ability to stretch the floor by knocking down catch and shot threes, and throughout the game he pushed the tempo selectively, choosing the right moments to attack in transition. He showed a strong dribble drive game, kicking out to shooters when help collapsed, and repeatedly proved he could get into the paint and finish with either hand. Defensively, he anticipated the passing lane for a key steal that led to a layup, and his overall feel made him an underrated playmaker who impacted multiple phases of the game.      He stretched the floor off the dribble and from the catch, giving his team reliable spacing and shot creation. Defensively, he pressured the ball well and consistently disrupted opposing guards. He reached a major milestone by scoring his 1,000th point in the championship game, a moment that fueled his momentum. He was shifty off the dribble, changed direction smoothly, and used his strength to finish through traffic. As an aggressive playmaker and scoring threat, he attacked gaps, created opportunities, and kept defenses off balance. His standout performance in the 3A Championship earned him MVP honors, highlighting the impact he made on both ends of the floor.     He played with high activity on both ends of the floor, showing strong instincts and impact throughout games. Defensively, he provided smart help defense that led to steals, turning those takeaways into momentum turning plays. On offense, he caught the ball high and attacked downhill, using his strength to get to the rim and finish. He also showed good vision, making drop‑off passes off the dribble for easy layups. His energy and athleticism stood out, and he earned the nickname “Jumpman” because of the powerful, highlight level dunks he delivers in big moments.
