Spring Break Scrimmage Standouts: 2026 Outstanding Guards

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Ladies and gentlemen, spring break is now upon us and yesterday was a great beginning to the week as I was able to go watch a college camp full of great prospects at Rosehill Christian School. Several athletes showed up and showed out with scholarship opportunities hanging in the balance due to 20+ college coaches in attendance! Some new faces made their mark on me during the camp and several old faces re-emerged to lead the pack. Adam is a player who can function at either guard or wing slot and makes impact plays on both ends. During these scrimmages, he had multiple buckets at the rim on fastbreaks including dunks and layups in traffic over closing out defenders. Garner uses a quick tempo and high IQ playmaking decisions to keep teammates involved, but if he gets a one-on-one mismatch, he will certainly take advantage of it and either create his own shot off the dribble or take it to the basket and either dish out or take a tough layup at the rim. He was one of the players I had never been able to watch before and his performance was undeniably one of the best overall. He slashed to the rim past his matchup with great efficiency, showed a smooth form on his jumper, and made plays in passing lanes on defense. His prowess is great on that end of the court as he is vocal and never afraid to get physical with his matchup, whether it is in the post or on the perimeter. Macbright also can run a good offensive set from the point guard slot as he handles the ball well under pressure and he is always looking to be a pass first guard.
