Re-Ranking the Regional Champions – Class 4A

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Two weeks ago there were 404 teams across four classes battling for a chance to reach Gainbridge Fieldhouse. There are now just 32 teams remaining, eight per class, and only two wins separate teams from the ultimate goal of playing for a State Championship. As always, Prep Hoops Indiana will spend the week previewing the upcoming games. In additional to class-by-class previews that are rolling out all week long we will re-rank the teams remaining in the field just as we did prior to the Regional round. Vernon (Fortville)</td></tr></tbody></table></figure> <!-- /wp:table --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Crown Point spent a lot of this season ranked #1 in the Prep Hoops Indiana Class 4A Top 10 before their lone loss dropped them behind Fishers. Now, they are back in the Semi-State for a second straight season and have returned to the top spot in our rankings as well. Mt. Vernon (Fortville) was a more-than-worthy secondary candidate as well after what they did in the Regional to beat Pike.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The most compelling Semi-State game, at least in the morning, will be #4 Terre Haute North and #5 New Albany. That will be a fun one featuring a lot of talented prospects and two teams that are pretty evenly matched on paper. We went with Snider at sixth because they beat Homestead during the regular season. Both are rolling into Semi-State play.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Northridge is the sleeper of the bunch, but very much deserves to be third. What they did getting by South Bend St. Joseph in the Regional.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph -->
