<p>This year, 2A had an impressive player that we had an opportunity to watch at our PH Utah Expo. [player_tooltip player_id='2604919' first='Raidon' last='Barney'] was one of the standout players at this event as he stood at around 6'8 and could play like a guard. Most 6'8 players that oplay in rural Utah do not get a chance to develop their guard skills well enough, especially at an early age. Barney has been able to do so and has become one of the best players in his class, regardless of his school's classification. </p>

<p><strong>The Developing Game of Barney</strong></p>

<p>Barney brings a lot of upside to the floor as he has a very solid inside game, as he has the ability to play with his back to the basket. He has that mid-post game as well, where he can use a few dribbles to back defenders up, he can rise and shoot over you, and as his turn and face game gets better, he could turn into a player that turns and faces and uses his footwork to get above the rim more often than not. In the midrange, you can see his confidence grow, and he has also become more confident in the short corner jumper area. With him elevating his outside game, Barney will bring a lot more to the table over the spring and summer, and he should have a stellar senior season. Barney is on pace to score over 1,200 points in his career. He has a game where he should be getting next-level offers soon. He could be a sleeper D1 prospect. </p>
