On March 2nd and 3rd I attended the annual National Scholastic Prep Association tournament at the Phhacility. 12 teams battled it out for the playoffs from around the world and competed with Canada, Iowa, Utah, New Mexico and of course Arizona. Three Arizona teams actually made the Final-4 with PHH Prep and the 2 BVP teams.

[player_tooltip player_id='3548448' first='Mmesoma' last='Ndubisi'] CIA Bella Vista Prep (Pictured)

A power forward with a little size. He is a true athlete playing way above the rim. He will score with offensive rebound put backs and plays super hard. He will hit the three off the catch and has nice body control in the lane and he is a decent passer.

[player_tooltip player_id='2964152' first='Daniel' last='Simon'] Hillcrest Prep

A long, fluid and lean center moves extremely well from end to end. He can play way above the rim and throws it down with authority. He also comes with deep range on his threes off the catch. He uses his long reach to rebound and he oozes with upside.

[player_tooltip player_id='2630594' first='Tanner' last='Hibbs'] Tucson Premier Prep

A tough, skilled power forward with a super high IQ. He shoots the ball well from the three point line and will get downhill using his thicker frame. He rebounds well in and out of his area and brings a little edge. He started his career at Marana HS in Tucson.

[player_tooltip player_id='3027281' first='Rafa' last='Corta'] CIA Bella Vista Prep

A long, tall and highly skilled power forward. He rebounds well in his area and will time the ball at its highest point and block shots. He scores with cuts off the ball and he has a pretty shooting stroke from the three point line with huge confidence.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574808' first='Ruach' last='Gony'] Bella Vista Prep Supreme

A hyper athletic power forward moves fluidly from end to end. He covers a lot of ground on the defensive end and can defend multiple positions. He will score with mid-range jumpers and athletic downhill drives with either hand.

[player_tooltip player_id='2563124' first='Bolaji' last='Oderinlo'] Bella Vista Prep Supreme

A power forward is a defensive stalwart who defends so well in space. He is raw but he will hit the open three off the catch and he runs like a track kid on the break and jumps out of the building. A possible future 3 and D.

[player_tooltip player_id='2949463' first='Ismael' last='Granados'] Tucson Premier Prep

A power forward is a natural driver to the basket. He will smartly cut off the ball and score or earn trips to the free throw line. He rebounds at a good clip in his area. He came in off the bench and brought some energy to the team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2574812' first='Sadeek' last='Noah'] Bella Vista Prep Supreme

A high flying power forward will score it with alley-oop dunks, offensive rebound put backs and he will score it inside and out. He defends in space and will rebound and block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='3551833' first='Viktor' last='Akinyemi'] Hillcrest Prep

A forward who is a natural slasher who can slide over to the SF spot or play a small ball undersized power forward. He gets downhill well with his frame using euro steps with handle and length. He is also a sneaky good passer.
