[player_tooltip player_id='2828757' first='Cyson' last='Ballard'] (Shoebox Elite)

Ballard really looked like a playmaker in the game that I watched. He wanted the ball in his hands and he wanted to find a bucket for his teammates or for himself. Ballard looked solid and unselfish on the drive and dish and the drive and dump off pass. Coaches can trust him with the ball and trust the decisions that he'll make with it.

Kahari Brown (Grand Rapids Thunder 17u-1)

Brown was making plays at the Great Lakes Challenge. He was a fearless shooter that could get hot with his shot. Brown was quick with the ball and made the defense react and rotate. He was able to change direction and start or stop on a dime. This allowed him to create space for a pass or a shot. Plus, the defense had to pick him up early with the deep range on his jumper.

[player_tooltip player_id='3528169' first='Tamaren' last='Campbell'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2948714' first='Motor' last='City Dragons'])

Campbell put his name on the map at the Great Lakes Challenge. He was a steady lead guard that seemed to know when his team needed him to make a play. Campbell was solid and shifty with the ball and could create space and find teammates on time and on target. He showed off a nice bounce pass over the weekend. Campbell was able to put the ball on the floor and make things happen.

[player_tooltip player_id='2277487' first='Carlos' last='Gomez Jr.'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2077023' first='Michigan' last='Mustangs'])

CJ Gomez just looked really solid over the weekend. He was intelligently unselfish. Gomez knew that he was surrounded by top notch athletes and he got them the ball in stride and in scoring positions. But don't be fooled, he also showed that he could get to the rim off the bounce and finish as well as bury a jumper from beyond the arc.

[player_tooltip player_id='2869794' first='Joseph' last='Hambrick'] ([program_tooltip program_id='2948714' first='Motor' last='City Dragons'])

Hambrick was 1 of the best players in the gym in my opinion. He was able to make plays all over the floor. Hambrick could push the pace and make athletic plays in the open floor. He even had a showtime windmill dunk that dropped jaws around the gym. Hambrick was able to make plays as a slasher and cutter as well.
