<p class="text-gray-700">Nelson's size and strength immediately posed problems for Northside. The 6'8 forward consistently established position inside, forcing the Mustangs to foul to prevent easy finishes at the rim. Nelson also showed the ability to step away from the basket, taking jumpers and converting at the free throw line. His basketball IQ stood out as well, drawing multiple charges on opposing bigs and shifting momentum in Providence's favor.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Bender provided much of Northside's offense early. The 6'8 forward used a quick first step to blow past defenders and create his own scoring opportunities. He also stepped out behind the arc and knocked down perimeter shots, giving Northside valuable production during a strong opening stretch. Bender finished with 13 points.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Stewart, the team's leading scorer at nearly 15 points per game, delivered another productive outing. The athletic forward energized the crowd with a surprise putback dunk in the first half and remained aggressive on the offensive glass. Stewart also showed his ability to stretch the defense with outside shooting.</p>

<p class="text-gray-700">Hearn kept Northside within striking distance for much of the game. He knocked down multiple contested shots from deep, providing critical scoring from the perimeter. At 6'4, Hearn also contributed defensively with solid play on the perimeter.</p>

He also proved capable of taking over offensively, leading Providence in scoring while knocking down key free throws late to secure the win.</p>

<p>Providence ultimately pulled away late to defeat Northside Christian 59–43 in a game that remained competitive for most of the night before the Stallions created separation down the stretch. The victory sends Providence to the Class 2A state championship game, where they will face Miami Country Day. </p>
