<p>The Eagles defeated Clopton on Friday in the semifinals on Friday, then followed up with a victory over Hayti in Saturday's state championship game. Penney defeated Clopton in the third place game.</p>

<p>The 6'2" 2026 guard concluded his stellar career by leading the Eagles to their second consecutive state championship. He averaged 27 points and five rebounds in the two Final Four games. He had 28 points and four assists and four made 3-pointers in the semifinals against Clopton and 26 points and eight rebounds in the championship game against Hayti. He finished his career as the school's career scoring leader with more than 2,000 points.</p>

<p>J'Vonta Payne (Hayti): The 6'0" 2026 guard had a strong weekend in leading Haytil to a runner-up finish. He averaged 18 points and three rebounds during the Final Four. He had 21 points, three rebounds and two assists in the semifinals against Penney.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2090488' first='Jacob' last='Miller'] (Penney): The 6'8" 2026 Northwestern football recruit had a strong weekend in the paint in leading Penney to a third-place finish. He had 30 points, eight rebounds and four blocks in the semifinals against Hayti. In the victory over Clopton in the third-place game, he had 22 points, 12 rebounds and six blocks.</p>

<p>Ledon Webb (Hayti): The 6'0" 2027 guard had his 3-point shot working throughout the weekend as he averaged 15 points a game. He scored 15 points in both Final Four games while making a total of eight 3-pointers. He made five triples in the championship game against Eugene.</p>

<p>Dawson Busch (Eugene): The 6'3" 2026 forward had a solid weekend in helping the Eagles to the state championship. He averaged 14 points and three rebounds in the two Final Four games. He had a big performance in the semifinals with 19 points in the victory over Clopton.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2843297' first='Austin' last='Doerhoff'] (Eugene): The 6'7" 2026 forward was a pillar of strength inside in helping lead the Eagles to the state championship. His forte is rim protection, which he displayed in both games as he blocked a total of nine shots in the final four. In the championship game against Hayti, blocked six shots in addition to his 14 points, three rebounds and three steals.</p>
