<p>The Final Four of the Class 1 state tournament was held this weekend at the Mizzou Arena on the campus of the University of Missouri-Columbia. Led by Hall of Fame coach Rod Gorman, Bunker High won its first state championship with a 61-54 victory over Brunswick. Faith Christian Academy defeated Kingsville in the third place game.</p>

<p>The 6'3" 2027 guard completed a tremendous junior season by leading the Eagles to the state championship. He averaged 33 points, five rebounds, and three steals in the two Final Four games. He scored 33 points in both the semifinals against Faith Christian Academy and the championship game against Brunswick. He is a sturdy guard with the strength to score inside along with the shooting range that extends well past the 3-point line.</p>

<p>FIRST TEAM</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='1790002' first='John' last='Fleeman'] (Kingsville): The 7'0" 2026 Chattanooga recruit was a force in the paint throughout the weekend as he averaged 21 points, 11 rebounds three assists and three blocks in the two Final Four games. He is a very skilled big who made his teammates better with his passing along with his ability to score and rebound.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2852823' first='Jayton' last='Skaggs'] (Bunker): The 6'2" 2028 guard had a solid weekend in helping the Eagles to the the state championship. He averaged 10 points, 7.5 rebounds and two steals a game during the two-day weekend.</p>

<p>Drew Jackson (Brunswick): The 5'10" 2028 guard had a strong weekend for the state runners-up. He scored 15 points and made five 3-pointers against Bunker in the state championship game. He scored a team-high 17 points in the victory over Kingsville in the semifinals.</p>

<p>[player_tooltip player_id='2919088' first='Balston' last='Brown'] (Brunswick): The 6'3" 2028 guard had an excellent weekend as he averaged 15 opints, 7.5 rebounds and 3.5 blocks to help lead Brunswick to the championship. The explosive guard had 19 points, 15 rebounds, three blocks and four assists in the state championship game against Bunker.</p>

<p>Jay Hayward (Brunswick): The 6'0" 2027 has a solid weekend as one of the several Brunswick players to average in double figures during the weekend. He averaged 16.5 points in the two games, including a double-double with 16 points and 10 rebounds against Kingsville in the semifinals. He scored 17 points against Bunker in the championship game.</p>
