2A has consistently showcased talented players from smaller schools across the state. Schools such as South Sevier, Parowan, Beaver, and North and South Summit have a history of developing outstanding players, with some even displaying next-level potential. This year's group includes a significant number of players with that same caliber of talent, with some moving on to the next level while others will be returning.

Sr. Maddox Welch, South Summit High School

Brown over at Kanab has been impressive, and he has next-level playing ability. He is an athlete who can play both ends of the court at a high level. Miller over at Rowland Hall might have a chance to become one of the best players to ever come through there. [player_tooltip player_id='3450646' first='Tayton' last='Pace'] at North Summit has been a feature player this year, and he was among one of the best sophomores regardless of classification. [player_tooltip player_id='2889131' first='Cooper' last='Crockett'] made the move from a 6A school to a 2A. school, and he took full advantage of it as he was among the best players in 2A, and at times, he looked like he was just too much to stop. Welch was another solid player out of South Summit who had an excellent high school career, putting up big numbers all year.

So. Jakobe Ross, American Leadership Academy

Ross and Redd are two players who are underclassmen who will come back and be a force next season. Look for Ross to be a 20 PPG scorer and still rack up assists. Redd will be an instrumental piece in a state championship run again.
