Throughout the high school season there were a myriad of 2029 prospects who caught our attention in different ways. Some guys were thrust into prominent roles on their high school teams really early on with some others playing more limited roles but showing us real flashes whenever their number was called. With these guys sticking to their age groups for the most part in travel ball, I fully expect these guys to really showcase their ability and without further delay, let's take a deeper look!

Fogle is a very intriguing young prospect who helped Greenfield win an NCISAA 2A State Championship as a freshman this past season and he'll be playing this travel ball season with [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 3SSB 15u. Fogle played a relatively limited role this season at Greenfield but proved to be more than capable whenever his number was called as he has a great blend of size and shooting touch for a prospect at this stage. Fogle should be able to showcase more of his overall game this spring and summer as he looks to prove his two way value ahead of his sophomore year at Greenfield where he'll be more than likely to take a significant step up in minutes and role. Fogle did shoot 41% from deep on the season and if he can carry that efficiency over along with higher usage, I fully expect Fogle to be a reliable and productive option for [program_tooltip program_id='2078500' first='Garner' last='Road'] 15u this spring and summer. His size, outside touch, and versatility will be incredibly valuable for this team.

Cadet enjoyed a really quality freshman season at Cary Academy where he found a way to fit in alongside of other talent while still shining in his own way. He'll be playing with [program_tooltip program_id='2375668' first='SW15H' last='Elite'] UA Rise 15u this spring/summer coming off of his freshman year where he averaged 8.3 Points, 4.1 Rebounds, and 1.6 Assists on 43/32/69 shooting splits. Cadet possesses the ability to score off the bounce from all three levels while doing it all within the flow of the offense. He's a very confident but not overzealous player, he knows what he's capable of without trying to force anything too much. He's got great size for a combo guard at this stage, it will be very interesting to track how he continues to develop physically with the skillset he already possesses. I fully expect Cadet to be a feature guy for this [program_tooltip program_id='2375668' first='SW15H' last='Elite'] team and really showcase that he's going to be a notable prospect in NCs 2029 class for the foreseeable future.

Hargett proved to be one of North Carolina's most productive guards in the 2029 class as freshman at Heritage High School and he'll be playing his travel ball with Top Shot UAA 15u this season. As a freshman he averaged 16.5 Points, 3.3 Rebounds, 2.6 Assists, and 1.4 Steals per game on 47/40/83 shooting splits. That is dangerously close to 50/40/90 on high volume as a freshman in one of the more difficult public school conferences in North Carolina. That is a lot to be impressed with and one heck of a foundation to build upon for Hargett as he moves forward in his basketball career. Hargett possesses elite footwork when it comes to shot creation, he's got a tricky handle and really good positional size to work with at this stage. He's a capable PG with the ability of making reads out of ball screens and does a really good job keeping the ball in the middle 3rd of the floor. Hargett will get real attention this travel ball season if he simply continues to play the way we all know he's capable of.

Dukes played a relatively limited role at Grimsley this past season but will be running with A Wigg Elite UAA 15u this spring/summer and the athletic forward is looking to have a highlight filled summer. Early returns show that Dukes will likely be one of the best and most well rounded athletes in North Carolina's 2029 class and he appears to have a very high motor which will make him really difficult to stop on the 15u level. Dukes has a ton of upside and versatility on the defensive end of the floor with his high activity level and ability to guard multiple positions at this stage. Dukes blend of constant above the rim pressure and defensive activity will shine in a 15u setting. The experience he'll gain from playing a big role with more consistent minutes should have him primed for an increase in production as a sophomore at Grimsley next season!

Cannon is a dynamic prospect in NC's 2029 class that will be running with [program_tooltip program_id='2226228' first='Team' last='CP3'] EYBL 15u this spring/summer amongst some of the other top 2029s in the state/region. After a really strong freshman season on a deep Ben L Smith team, Cannon is ready to take that experience and apply it towards impact with CP3 this season. As a freshman at Ben L Smith he found himself in some really big games and did more than just hold his own. His blend of size, outside touch, and aggressive athleticism give him an incredible basketball foundation to work from. It's also really refreshing to see a player at the stage Nicholas is at with his skillset and tell that he truly loves to play the game. It feels like he can't stay away from it, even when he's not playing, he's in attendance at other games. When a kid with this talent is obsessed with it, the results will more than likely be really strong.
