The OHSAA basketball season is about 75% complete which makes this a perfect time to update our OHSAA rankings in each Division. In this article we'll break down the top 10 teams in Division VII.

1. Delphos St John's (17-0)

The Blue Jays have been dominant all season long with few games competitive in the fourth quarter. Two overtime wins over Lima Central Catholic and Spencerville show they can get it done when it's crunch time as well.

2. Botkins (13-3)

The Trojans are currently unbeaten in SCAL play, usually a top small-town conference. With no bad losses on their resume, Botkins seems like a safe bet to make it far in the postseason.

3. Miami Valley Christian Academy (14-4)

Before a blowout Vs Division III opponent Archbishop McNicholas, the Lions three losses were by just six combined points. Pretty impressive against a tough schedule.

4. McDonald (19-0)

Being unbeaten at this point of the year is extremely impressive and McDonald just continues to take care of business.

5. Arlington (15-3)

A tough win over Wooster Triway at the Battle at the Berkey extended the Red Devils win streak to 11 games.

6. Minster (12-6)

A tough schedule has prepared Minster for a playoff run and they are starting to turn the corner, winning their last five games.

7. Cedarville (15-2)

A bizarre loss at Northeastern prevents the Indians from moving into the top 5 of the rankings but this team is still one to watch in southwest Ohio.

8. Sidney Lehman Catholic (14-4)

Getting swept by Northridge is not an issue but the Cavaliers slip a few spots after scoring just 26 in a loss to Miami East. Lehman Catholic does have a manageable schedule to close the year to get some momentum before playoff time.

9. Racine Southern (12-2)

The Tornadoes have found their form after starting the season 2-2 and have rattled off 10 in a row to climb back into the top 10 after falling out.

10. Fairport Harding (15-2)

Sweeping Grand Valley is impressive and losses to Riverside and Glenville are nothing to be ashamed of. The Skippers are one of the favorites in Division VII from Northeast Ohio.
