The OHSAA Basketball Season is about 75% complete and in this article we'll break down the top 10 teams in Division IV as of February 4th.

1. Cincinnati Wyoming (17-0)

The Cowboys continue to roll as they picked up a nice win over Ferndale over the weekend. Games against GCL-South powers Cincinnati St Xavier and Cincinnati Elder are the biggest hurdles to an unbeaten season.

2. Zanesville Maysville (16-1)

The Panthers haven't lost since a season opening game Vs Cincinnati Taft and just picked up one of the biggest wins of the season against Lutheran East on a neutral court. With how well Maysville shoots the basketball, they can beat anybody when they get hot.

3. Dayton Northridge (17-1)

Wins over Cincinnati Elder, Mason, Margaretta and a sweep of Lehman Catholic have the Polar Bears climbing up the list.

4. John Glenn (16-1)

The Little Muskies win over Berlin Hiland to open the year keeps on looking better and better as the season progresses, their lone defeat was at home to number two Maysville by 12.

5. Canfield (16-2)

Unbeaten since the new year began, Canfield has found their stride and hit it as they've picked up recent wins over West Branch, Austintown Fitch, Warren G Harding and Warren Howland twice in January.

6. Warrensville Heights (10-6)

The Tigers have picked up some solid recent wins over Andrew's Osborne Academy, Bedford and Fairview in between a competitive loss Vs Garfield Heights. I expect the Tigers to compete for a regional title this March.

7. Cincinnati Taft (11-4)

While the Senators are slipping in league play, wins over Maysville to open the year, Goshen, and Walnut Ridge have Taft comfortably in the top 10.

8. Kettering Alter (12-6)

Wins over Tippecanoe and rival Kettering Fairmont have the Knights climbing up the rankings despite a tough league loss to Badin, who they beat on the road in overtime back in December. A win over McCracken County out of Kentucky is a sneaky impressive game as well.

9. Glenville (12-6)

Recent wins over Hawken, Brunswick and Fairport Harding have allowed Glenville to climb back into the top 10 after they struggled outside of Senate League action to open the season.

10. Norton (17-0)

Norton will have a chance to rocket up these rankings with a game Vs Lutheran East tonight, win that game and they will prove they should be top 3 in this list. A loss won't hurt them too bad, no shame if they lose to a top 5 team in Ohio regardless of Division.

Watchlist (By Region)

Chillicothe Unioto (14-2)

Circleville (13-2)

Jonathan Alder (14-5)

Urbana (14-3)

Sandusky Perkins (15-1)

Millbury Lake (14-2)

Van Wert (14-3)

Cambridge (16-2)
