North Fulton County Report: 2028 and 2029 Standouts (Part 2)

Fulton County continues to produce high-level basketball talent, and this season is no exception. College coaches have been making their way through the area to track prospects who have separated themselves with production, athleticism, and upside. Here's a closer look at the top sophomore and freshman prospects in North Fulton County.    Araujo is a promising 2029 prospect at Holy Innocents'. The freshman is scoring over 5 points per game for a very talented Golden Bears team. Has a high basketball IQ and is a solid shot maker from the perimeter. Araujo has good length and shows all the signs of a being a potential high level prospect in Georgia's freshman class.     The sophomore big man has carved out an important role for the 22-3 Golden Bears and continues to trend upward as a frontcourt prospect. Witzigreuter brings a strong combination of size, physical strength, and above-average mobility for his age, allowing him to impact the game on both ends of the floor. He finishes efficiently around the rim, shows soft touch in the painted area, and does a good job playing through contact. With his consistent motor, developing skill set, and long-term upside, he projects as a name college coaches will increasingly track closely over the next two seasons.     Strom gives the Eagles another legitimate perimeter threat with his ability to consistently stretch the floor. He shoots the ball with confidence, owns a quick, compact release, and has a natural instinct for finding space and hunting quality looks from beyond the arc. There is no hesitation when he's left open, and he makes defenses pay with his range. As he continues to add strength and expand his ball-handling ability, his overall versatility and value as a college prospect should continue to rise.     The sophomore guard earned All-Region honors after a strong season with the Patriots, establishing himself as one of the program's most reliable offensive weapons. He is a natural scoring guard who is comfortable creating his own shot but also thrives playing off the ball, moving well without it and capitalizing on opportunities within the flow of the offense. With above-average quickness, he consistently puts pressure on defenders, shows good command of the basketball, and makes sound decisions as both a scorer and facilitator. His high basketball IQ and ability to read the game allow him to impact winning in multiple ways, and he projects as a backcourt prospect whose stock should continue to rise.     Jackson is an explosive, strong lead guard in the 2029 class who already plays beyond his years. An All-Region selection as a freshman, he consistently pressures the defense with his quick first step and downhill mentality, making him extremely difficult to keep out of the paint. He shows creativity and body control finishing over size and length, and he's capable of knocking down open perimeter shots when defenses collapse. On the defensive end, Jackson competes with toughness, applies ball pressure, and uses his strength and quickness to disrupt opposing guards, further elevating his value as a young prospect with significant long-term upside.
