Mulder is in the midst of a breakout junior year and he was dominant against the Knights, scoring 20 points on 9-13 shooting to go with 12 rebounds and 2 blocks. A big, physical 6-5 forward with soft hands, great footwork, and good touch around the rim, he does a great job carving out position on the block, sealing his man and making quick decisions on his post touches.

A sharpshooter with a quick release off the catch, Brightwell's ability to help space the floor is huge for a Dutchmen team that has such a go-to, dominant big man as Mulder, giving him more room to operate. He's a confident shooting threat who went 4-9 from the 3-point line against Unity.

A stat-sheet stuffing guard who will do whatever is asked of him, Van Gelder is one of the few returnees who saw significant time on last year's state title team. He had 5 points (5-6 FT), 6 rebounds, 7 assists, and 3 steals in the win, showing his ability to impact the game even when he isn't scoring.

Van Donge tied for the team-high with 10 points to go with 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and a block. The thing that stood out about his game was his improvement as a ball-handler. The lanky 6-4 lefty looked really comfortable attacking off the dribble from the wing, getting to the rim for finishes or finding open teammates after getting the defense to collapse. His combination of length and athleticism provides the Knights with some defensive versatility as well.

Bosma didn't have his best, or most efficient, game, scoring 10 points on 4-11 shooting, but the senior guard still impacted the game in a major way and made several big plays in the third and fourth quarters to keep UC within striking distance despite them not playing particularly well. He's a tough shotmaker, comfortable shooting against good contests, and his physicality in the backcourt is something that is difficult for opposing guards to contend with on either end.
