<p><strong>[player_tooltip player_id='2887500' first='Aiden' last='Mestas'], Portales</strong>: Made arguably the Shot of the Year so far when he nailed a half-court shot at the buzzer to stun defending Class 4A champion Artesia, 64-63. The Bulldogs had just taken a 63-61 lead with seconds remaining on a offensive putback. The ball was inbounded to Mestas, who dribbled twice before launching his half-court heave.
