The first full weekend of February is here, meaning county tournament play is in full swing. The Cape-Atlantic League has players that have been flying under the radar, but are primed to have big tournaments. Here are the guard prospects to track during the Cape-Atlantic League Tournament.

[player_tooltip player_id='2202016' first='Bryce' last='Clark'], 5'9 PG St. Augustine 2027

Clark has created an immediate impact for the Hermits with his ability to run the offense. The 5'9 guard is a blur in the open floor as defenders struggle to keep him out of the paint and he can draw contact in the paint. Clark can also score in the mid-range and has the ability to knock down open jumpers from behind the arc. He finds his open teammates in the half court and uses his quick hands to get deflections on defense. Clark is a speedy guard prospect who should make plays at both ends of the floor throughout the course of the season.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628179' first='Mason' last='Murawski'], 6'2 CG Middle Township 2027

Murawski is one of the top shooters in the Cape-Atlantic League and should put it on display during the tournament. The 6'2 guard has a clean release on his jumper and can get hot from distance in a hurry. Murawski moves well without the ball in his hands, freeing himself for open jumpers and layups in the half court. He is an underrated passer and slides his feet on the defensive end. Murawski is a sharpshooting guard prospect who should torch the nets from distance during the county tournament.

Jordan Gonzalez, 6'5 SG Holy Spirit 2026

Gonzalez has the ability to play either spot on the perimeter, making him an intriguing prospect to watch in the class. The 6'5 wing has a good first step, which he uses to blow by his defender off the bounce and knows how to finish around the basket. Gonzalez is more than just a slasher as he has a nice shooting stroke and makes opponents pay for giving him space behind the arc. He has the length to defend multiple positions on the floor and is an underrated rebounder. Gonzalez is a lanky guard prospect whose ability to score inside and out is something that will help his stock over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2763585' first='Dontae' last='Day-Thompson'], SG Atlantic City 2028

Day-Thompson has been playing at a high level all season for the Vikings as he is averaging 19 points per game. He has a smooth shooting stroke and can knock down triples in bunches. Day-Thompson is more than just a shooter as he can also get into the lane off the bounce and finishes well around the rim. He works hard on the defensive end and moves well without the ball in his hands. Day-Thompson is fresh off a 30-point performance against St. Augustine and is looking for more games like that over the next couple of weeks.

[player_tooltip player_id='2786721' first='Ty' last='Bonner'], 5'9 PG Lower Cape May 2026

Bonner has the ability to play on and off the ball, which he should put on display during the county tournament. The 5'9 guard plays with composure on the ball as he rarely gets sped up by on-ball pressure and threads passes to his open teammates. Bonner has a nice touch on his floater and wastes little motion on his jumper. He moves well without the ball in his hands and gets deflections on the defensive end. Bonner is a true lead guard prospect whose ability to run the offense effectively will help Lower Cape May make noise during the Cape-Atlantic League tournament.

Other Prospects to Track:

[player_tooltip player_id='2509565' first='Markus' last='Polite'], 6'0 SG Cedar Creek 2026

[player_tooltip player_id='2771933' first='James' last='Lawson'], 5'9 PG Vineland 2027

Dallas Rowell, SG Mainland 2027

[player_tooltip player_id='2628232' first='Greg' last='Smith'], 6'2 SG Hammonton 2026

Jamil Hudson, 6'2 SG Pleasantville 2026
