[player_tooltip player_id='2557759' first='Jaylen' last='Durham'] is a 2028 guard out of Booker T. Washington High School that was a huge offensive spark against Yates High School. Offensively, Jaylen is a three-level scorer that can get to the basket and hit open perimeter shots off the catch and dribble. Due to his aggression on that end when driving to the basket, he draws plenty of fouls that give him chances at the line. Jaylen was a surprise coming into this matchup, and I will be keeping track of his progress.

Dakari Bolton is a senior guard out of Yates High School that made big-time plays that ultimately led to his team winning against Booker T. Washington High School. In these plays, he drove very aggressively to the basket, resulting in And-1 opportunities for him down the stretch. Defensively, Dakari is very active with his on-ball ability and quick hands. Dakari has been a prospect I've been keeping up with since last year and should definitely have suitors on the next level.

Toren Lee-Rose is a senior forward from Westside High School that is leading the team in scoring with an impressive average of 16.7 points per game. Beyond his scoring prowess, Toren also contributes significantly to the team's success with 5.2 rebounds and 2.2 steals per game. Recently, he achieved a remarkable milestone by surpassing the 1,000-point mark in his high school career, marking the end of his final year at Westside. Toren's ability to excel in multiple statistical categories makes him a player with the potential to excel at the next level.

Eric (EJ) Beard is a highly proven scorer that has been under my evaluation for the past couple of years. He consistently scores between in double digits per game, both during the season and whenever I watch him play. As the primary scorer for Heights High School, he also possesses the ability to generate steals in passing lanes and by playing disciplined defense on the ball. Currently, Eric is averaging 22.4 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.2 assists, and 2.5 steals per game. His shooting percentages are impressive, with a field goal percentage of 49%, a three-point percentage of 33%, and a free throw percentage of 80%. These statistics have earned him some Division 1 offers from top-tier programs during the season as his stock is likely to grow further as he is in the class of 2028!

[player_tooltip player_id='2438607' first='Carlos' last='Ojeda'], a surprise from Houston's Legacy Sports and Science, showcased his skills against Second Baptist High School. His impressive three-point shooting kept his team in the game. Whenever he was on the perimeter, he took shots with precision, demonstrating his excellent shooting form and powerful jump. Beyond his shooting prowess, Carlos is a dedicated defender. He is willing to make hustle plays on the defensive end, contributing to his team's overall success. His consistent production suggests that he has the potential to play at the next level in the future.
