[player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'], Davis

Turley continues to play at a high level on a team that emphasizes ball sharing and consistent performance. As a senior at Davis, one of the state's top programs, he has made the most of his opportunities. He had a standout performance against Weber, scoring 26 points in a crucial victory, and has maintained a high level of play throughout January. The 6'1" lead guard possesses the potential to contribute immediately as a college freshman. He is a versatile player, capable of both scoring and distributing the ball effectively. While he can certainly shoot, he also demonstrates the smarts to take the best shot available. Furthermore, Turley is a solid defender, known for his ability to disrupt opponents and intercept passes in the passing lanes.

[player_tooltip player_id='1724368' first='Karter' last='Miller'], Layton

Miller has been playing exceptionally well, showcasing his talent in a recent game against Farmington. He delivered an outstanding performance, sinking seven three-pointers and finishing with an impressive 36 points. If January's performance is any indication of what to expect in February, the 6A conference could face challenges, as Miller appears poised to take control of games. He is consistently ranked among the top guards in the state, regardless of his class, and recently achieved a significant milestone by joining the 1,000-point club. This achievement puts him in a position to potentially reach 1,500 points before the end of his high school career.

[player_tooltip player_id='2024667' first='Colton' last='Hoenigman'], Syracuse

Syracuse was a quarter away from upsetting one of the best teams in the state in Corner Canyon, and Hoenigman was a major reason why, scoring 31 points in that crucial game. His January performance extended beyond that single "monster" game, as he averaged around 23 points per game throughout the month. Hoenigman possesses a well-rounded skill set, showcasing his ability to score effectively, and he's not solely reliant on perimeter shots. Hoenigman has a good dribble pull-up game.

[player_tooltip player_id='3462123' first='Luke' last='West'], Bingham

West showcased his scoring ability with multiple 30-point performances throughout January. His contributions have been instrumental in Bingham's strong performance, establishing them as a team to watch.

[player_tooltip player_id='1771527' first='Isaiah' last='Reiser'], Copper Hills

Reiser delivered a standout performance against Bingham, accumulating 32 points. His scoring ability is noteworthy.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278442' first='Carlo' last='Mulford'], Herriman

Regardless of the month, Mulford consistently demonstrates his scoring ability. In a recent game against Westlake, he delivered a strong performance, scoring 28 points and contributing to a victory over the top-ranked team in 6A. Clearly, Mulford has established himself as a scoring force for and when he gets to CSI he is going to be ready to produce.

[player_tooltip player_id='3281425' first='Dylan' last='Hatton'], Mountain Ridge

Hatton was clutch in a big win over Copper Hills. He has been able to put a few performances together that have given Mountain Ridge the title of a dark horse team that could knock you right off. Hatton is a high-energy guard who plays with a lot of intensity.

[player_tooltip player_id='1439711' first='Bryce' last='Mella'], American Fork

Mella's 30-point performance against Lehi was a much-needed boost for him and American Fork. Mella continues to be one of the top-tier guards with an undeniable ability to take over games, and he showcased that in January.

[player_tooltip player_id='1278508' first='Dillon' last='Roberts'], Corner Canyon

Roberts contributed a crucial 27-point performance that proved essential in overcoming a strong challenge from Syracuse in early January. He is an underrated player who consistently works to refine his skills. It's anticipated that he will experience significant growth and development as he moves to the next level.

[player_tooltip player_id='1724360' first='Ashton' last='Shewell'], Lehi

Shewell has been putting up big numbers. He had a monster game against American Fork where he scored 33 points and was a three-pointer away from an upset win. This is not the only monster game he has had in January.

[player_tooltip player_id='2540017' first='Carson' last='Mostellar'], Skyride

Mostellar put on a show against Lone Peak, hitting seven three-pointers en route to a 26-point performance. The bigger guard, who is somewhat under the radar, has the potential to succeed at the next level.
