Across Flight A and Flight B, Blue Hen features the deepest collection of talent in New Castle County. So it was no surprise that a range of prospects brought their A Game on Saturday afternoon. Here are the five who shines brightest:

Attacking off the bounce and off the catch, Coates put a ton of pressure on the rim. He flipped the court in transition, after grabbing a board or stealing the ball, and created easy buckets with how quickly he got to the cup. Coates also flashed playmaking chops in those situations, as well as in the halfcourt when he drew extra defenders. He put the finishing touches on the game with a dunk to total 17 points, 3 rebounds, 4 assists, and 2 steals.

The first Hawk off the bench, Davis played with a sense of urgency as he made plays for others and knocked down shots. As soon as he touched the paint off the dribble, he dumped the ball off to one of his bigs for an automatic two points. He also created for them in pick-and-roll. And when someone else swung the ball to him with an advantage, Davis stepped into a couple catch-and-shoot threes to chip in 10 points, 4 rebounds, and a team-high 6 assists.

Obiora side-stepped into a pull-up three in the first and capped off the fourth with three dunks, but he out-did that with a defensive performance best characterized as “seek and destroy.” His strong hands, long arms, and fluidity in space were the wrench that dismantled what Howard was trying to do on offense. The Wildcats couldn't get off clean looks inside the arc because Obiora was never too far away to clog the lane or to deter a rim-attempt. And when the Hawks defense sprang a leak, he was there to patch it with emphatic plays on the ball. Obiora racked up 17 points, 12 boards, 3 assists, 5 steals, and 5 blocks.

Reid got active early and often versus the Wildcats. After warming up with a putback, he maximized his physical abilities by deflecting a pass and taking it the other way for a fastbreak dunk. Reid's hand-eye coordination showed up when he was high-pointing the ball to block shots. And he displayed his agility when scoring out of the post and on rolls to the rim. So with big outputs in the first and fourth quarters, he led the Hawks with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal, and 2 blocks.

The Wildcats point guard put the peddle to the metal all game long. After a drive-and-kick to get the offense flowing, Baysah brought even more intensity as a shot creator while constantly hounding the point of attack on defense. He sliced and barrelled his way to the hoop, finding the right mix of power and fitness to generate advantages, and drew fouls in the process (6-8 FT). For his counter, Baysah went into his bag for mid-range jumpers, hitting two. And through his efforts, he was able to pace his team with 20 points, 7 rebounds, 2 assists, 3 steals, and a block.
