The 20th Anniversary of the Wally Keller Classic was held on Friday and Saturday at Charlotte High School, delivering two full days of high-level competition and standout performances. A total of 18 boys games featured many of the top teams and prospects from across the state, creating a showcase that lived up to its reputation as one of the premier events on the high school basketball calendar. He delivers timely offense, makes winning decisions, and helps keep the team organized on both ends of the floor, key factors in their rise to the top ranking in Class 5A. Small college programs in need of reliable backcourt depth should take a close look.     The Oberlin College commit is a skilled, left-handed guard who helps anchor one of the state's top backcourts. Diaz once again showed on Friday that he can impact the game as both a scorer and distributor, leading the Wolverines in a comfortable win over Port Charlotte. The senior plays with good quickness and a high basketball IQ, makes sound decisions with the ball, and is a reliable threat from beyond the arc.     Cuffy is a shifty, slashing lead guard who finished with 15 points in Saturday's 65–48 win over Oasis. The senior runs the show for Head Coach Curt Kassab, showing continued growth as both a decision-maker and leader. He uses his quickness and athleticism to get into the lane and finish above the rim, while also setting the tone defensively by applying consistent pressure on the ball.     A two-sport standout with a potential future on the gridiron, Jones showcased his athleticism on the hardwood with an impressive 24-point performance in a win over Lemon Bay to close out Saturday at the Wally Keller Classic. The strong, quick guard consistently beat defenders off the dribble, finishing effectively in the paint and thriving in the open floor. Defensively, Jones brings maximum effort, using his athleticism and versatility to guard multiple positions and impact the game on both ends.     The senior wing finished with 15 points for the Tornadoes on Saturday in Punta Gorda. Lattimore brings positional size and good length, along with a solid feel for the game and where to find his offense. A recent 1,000-point scorer, he does most of his damage in the midrange and at the rim, but his improved perimeter shot-making suggests his offensive arsenal continues to expand.
