Sterling MLK Classic: 2026 Playmaking Point Guards

The 11th Annual Sterling MLK Classic hosted 12 teams on Saturday. Here we will look at the floor generals from the class of 2026 who impacted the game from the point position.    One of the most if not the best balanced ball handler and passer during today's event. Fits into a well run system. Handles the primary point responsibilities but does a little bit of everything. Still would put him as a true point passing first guard at the next level but was active rebounding it today and can score it from multiple locations on the floor as well. Poised handling against longer and more athleticism in traps and presser. Envisioned gaps and completed passes in tight spaces. Smart IQ and efficient 2 way player.     Consistent agile on the ball defender full length of court majority of game. Quick lateral movement. Crashed the glass from guard spot and found success with a couple offensive rebounds. Gained advantage in transition for scores getting to the cup. Had a great hard cut off BLOB action for baby hook over more height. Liked his demeanor on both ends. Competed hard through whole contest.     Got into attack mode in 2nd half driving through contact. Compliments well in the 1 or 2 slots for team in well coached system. Active crasher on the glass from position. Competes on and off the ball positively while communicating effectively calling out screens and switches. Smart passer and selfless teammate.     Speedy conditioned scoring guard with up tempo pace. Scored it with efficiency to start game. Had team's 15 of 22 at one point. Stayed in attack mode while defense adjusted accordingly in second half. Face up knock down 3 point shooter. Was successful getting to the cup for break buckets as well. Competitively sound throughout.
