TORRANCE — North Torrance high school and Rolling Hills Prep's Harvey Kitani teamed up for the annual State Preview classic last weekend. The nine game event - including one girls game - featured matchups of the regions top players and individual prospects. We were in attendance for all eight of the boys games and below are the prospects who may not have put up huge statistical numbers but made a major impact for their team.

Coltrane Ragsdale | 2028 | St. Francis

St. Francis was without it's big man Cherif Millogo - who is normally good for 20-plus points and 15-plus rebounds - so it was imperative that someone stepped up in his absence and Ragsdale filled that role. The 6-foot-3 sophomore wing played a ton of energy and toughness on both ends of the floor and contributed 19 points and six assists in nail-biting overtime loss to Los Alamitos. Ragsdale was best when getting downhill, attacking the rim and finishing through contact.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436303' first='Djordan' last='Hall'] | 2027 | Windward

Hall had his hand in a little bit of everything Saturday as he finished with 17 points, seven rebounds and five assists in a win over Roosevelt. The 6-foot-1 combo guard scored efficiently as he connected on 6-for-9 from the field, 2-for-4 from three and 3-for-3 from the free throw line. Hall competed on the glass on both ends of the floor as he pulled down three offensive boards and created scoring opportunities for teammates without turning the ball over.

[player_tooltip player_id='2750239' first='Eli' last='Simmons'] | 2028 | Heritage Christian

Simmons is a double-double threat each time he takes the floor and, while he fell just short of that mark, the sophomore did a lot of the little things necessary to help Heritage Christian get a win. The 6-foot-6 forward scored eight points, grabbed five rebounds and had four steals in 26 minutes of action. Simmons is the lone rim protecting threat for the Warriors, who boast a talented group of guards, and his physical paint presence made it difficult for St. Anthony to get clean looks at the rim.

[player_tooltip player_id='1969520' first='Izaiah' last='Fiallos'] | 2026 | Rancho Cucamonga

Fiallos consistently brings a high level of energy, toughness and communication to the floor that you don't always see from high school prospects. The 6-foot-1 senior had a stellar offensive performance which included 22 points on 8-for-16 from the field in a win over Anaheim Canyon. Fiallos was active and physical as an on-ball defender, communicated switches on screens and pushed tempo offensively in transition.

Kameron Dodson | 2026 | Damien

Dodson doesn't get many shots for himself but he creates a bunch for his teammates and is the key trigger man in the Spartans' offense. The 6-foot-3 forward is a high IQ screener and passer and is crucial to Damien's hard to guard ball movement and player movement offense. Dodson finished with Three points, four assists and two steals but it was the multiple charges he took on drives that was most impactful in Damien's win over North Torrance.

Riley Bowers | 2028 | Los Alamitos

Bowers is a high motor, tough and no-nonsense style of guard whose point guard instincts and ability to play fast but in control makes the Griffins' high-octane offensive and defensive attack. The sophomore guard did a little bit of everything in a win over St. Francis as he contributed 13 points, seven assists and four steals with a handful of important defensive plays in the overtime period.
