[player_tooltip player_id='2637173' first='CJ' last='Edwards'] poured in 19 points in Clark's win over Palo Verde, setting the tone early with a jumper, a 3-pointer, and trips to the free-throw line. He continued to get to his spots and knock down shots in the second half, helping the Chargers build a lead heading into the fourth quarter. Edwards capped his performance with a tough transition basket in the closing minutes and calmly drained a few free throws to hold off the Panthers.

[player_tooltip player_id='1633205' first='Drake' last='Afe Passion'] gave the Chargers an extra scoring boost with his ability to finish in the lane and his awareness to leak out in transition. The senior showed good touch around the rim and put his athleticism on display with a dunk. He also brought consistent effort on the defensive end.

[player_tooltip player_id='2418885' first='Devan' last='Christion'] did a good job drawing contact in the paint in the first half, and made four shots from the charity stripe. He also knocked down a 3-pointer to showcase his shooting range. Christion built on that momentum in the second half by scoring inside and throwing down a pair of dunks that injected energy into the Chargers. The 6'8" power forward competed on the glass throughout the night as well, and made his presence felt defensively with a couple of blocks.

The Palo Verde 2028 combo guard was making deceptive maneuvers to try and get to the cup throughout the game. He has some real shake and can slip by defenders if he catches them guessing. He also used his quickness to keep his man in front of him on defense, and collected 2 steals. While the Panthers didn't come away with the win, it was encouraging to see him assert himself.

[player_tooltip player_id='1962969' first='Ethan' last='Inocencio'] dropped in 22 points for Palo Verde. He was splashing in shots from beyond the arc and mid-range jumpers thanks to his burst, body control and confidence. I was a fan of how he constantly hunted quality looks and showed no hesitation when opportunities presented themselves. Expect him to continue producing for the Panthers.
