Promise For The New Year – Juniors

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Come the turn of the calendar, many people make New Year's Resolutions. For me, my resolutions involve seeing player and / or becoming more familiar with their games. I've been breaking these down into players from each class. It's time for my promise in the new year for the junior class. He has some nasty dribble combos that can send defenders flailing. That needs to change. He can spot up and shoot from beyond the arc, and then the next possession, find a lane and finish with a 1 handed flush. He's a bouncy forward that can really attack the rim of a short drive or as a cutter. Everything I hear tells me that the young man can shoot and that he's been doing it this year. He's been putting up some very eye-catching numbers this season. I know of at least a couple 20 point games.
