I love how hard [player_tooltip player_id='3288616' first='Josh' last='Brown'] plays. The tough-nosed guard is a two-way player who brings infectious energy when subbed into the game. There is no drop off when Josh enters, immediately flying around to make things happen. He shows grit with how he is willing to step in and take charges. Brown is always one of the first players to dive on the floor for a loose ball. Much like the rest of the Dacula backcourt, Josh is a shot-maker who can net the three or get to his jumper off the dribble. In a win over Monroe Area, Brown collected 7 points, 3 rebounds, 1 assist, 2 steals and 1 block.

Long and athletic, George is an important piece for the guard-heavy Falcons. Fajemirokun provides resistance at the rim. Offensively, George crashes the glass hard, using his reach to tip away and secure rebounds for second chance opportunities. His passing from the high post led to numerous threes in an 80-45 win against Monroe Area racking up 6 points, 5 rebounds, 6 assists, 1 steal and 1 block.

Luke hit a pair of corner threes off the bench finishing with 10 points and 1 steal in the win over Monroe Area. Part of a deep 2028 class, Anderson spaces the floor with his jump shot and has speed to score in transition on run outs.

Strick the stick was a bright spot throughout the tournament for the Purple Hurricanes. Ryan cashed in on open threes and mixed in some one-dribble pull-ups from the wing to score the ball. His wiry length played a factor when guarding the ball.

The breakout season for [player_tooltip player_id='3288618' first='DJ' last='Mitchell'] continued as he went for 20 points, 1 rebound and 3 assists vs. Monroe Area. The flame throwing shooter drilled four threes, three coming in the fourth quarter to try and keep the Dragons within striking distance before ultimately falling 69-60. Mitchell's quick trigger from beyond the arc makes Pickens' three-point barrage offense so hard to guard.

Easing back into basketball shape after a lengthy football season, Landon had a strong showing against Monroe Area with 12 points and 4 rebounds. He used his size and strength to put the ball on the deck to finish at the rim. Jones has added a ton of muscle to his frame from last year and is still figuring out how to best utilize his new asset. Against Duluth he showed off strong moves while attacking baseline. He is a capable of scoring through contact and has shown over his career to be a steady three-point shooter with pick-and-pop skill.

Christian racked up 8 points, 3 rebounds, 5 steals and 5 blocks in a 62-41 win against Jackson County. The defensive ace guarded inside and out, using his wingspan to shut down passing lanes and to alter shots. Verella swished a pair of threes and had a rim-grazing slam on a cut to the hoop. The junior has intriguing skill on both sides of the ball.
