Verella will spend his senior season at Peachtree Ridge, bringing a combination of athleticism, versatility and inside/outside scoring ability to the frontcourt. An active, hard playing combo forward, he runs the floor well and uses his explosiveness to finish above the rim. He is also capable of stretching the floor with his ability to knock down open shots from beyond the arc. Verella is an energetic rebounder who makes his presence felt on the glass at both ends of the floor. With his physical tools, developing offensive skill set and consistent effort, he is an intriguing prospect with considerable upside in the 2027 recruiting class.

Christian racked up 8 points, 3 rebounds, 5 steals and 5 blocks in a 62-41 win against Jackson County. The defensive ace guarded inside and out, using his wingspan to shut down passing lanes and to alter shots. Verella swished a pair of threes and had a rim-grazing slam on a cut to the hoop. The junior has intriguing skill on both sides of the ball.
