Westlake

Westlake is currently 17-1 and is playing outstanding basketball, with significant contributions from multiple players. It's no surprise they received 46% of the votes in our Instagram poll. Role players Walker Jenson and [player_tooltip player_id='2540018' first='Lincoln' last='Norwood'] have had strong seasons, often making crucial plays. Westlake enters the state tournament as a top target, with [player_tooltip player_id='1476918' first='Graydin' last='Anderson'], [player_tooltip player_id='1724364' first='Malik' last='Sika'], and Brody Thompson leading the charge. Notably, six players on the team have already made over 20 three-pointers this season, making them a versatile and dangerous offensive unit.

Corner Canyon

The Chargers received the second-highest number of votes, and their recent performance has mirrored that recognition. Could this be their peak moment? Many teams are striving for that same timing. [player_tooltip player_id='1278437' first='Tyler' last='Mortensen']'s improvement has been particularly noteworthy. He's rapidly emerging as one of the top rising players in the Class of 2026, currently averaging 21 points per game. CCHS benefits from strong contributions from [player_tooltip player_id='1278508' first='Dillon' last='Roberts'] and Mo Brown. The contributions of [player_tooltip player_id='1724355' first='Diesel' last='Dart'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2809197' first='Ty' last='Kozlowski'] add significant value to the bench. Not to mention, [player_tooltip player_id='2673550' first='Josh' last='Tolman'] is having a fantastic sophomore season. It's no surprise that Corner Canyon has garnered the support of our Instagram followers, as they are undeniably a team to watch right now.

American Fork

American Fork's recent victory over Layton was a statement game, showcasing their resilience outside of region play. The fourth quarter proved to be their strong suit, as they ultimately outplayed a capable Layton team. This performance solidifies American Fork's position as a serious contender, displaying a well-rounded skillset that includes size, strong shooting, and effective playmaking. [player_tooltip player_id='2089441' first='Jax' last='Clark'] has been particularly impressive, leading the charge with his outstanding basketball skills, while the team's ability to hit crucial three-pointers adds another layer to their offensive prowess. There is no doubt that AF has another shot at a title run.

Davis

Davis earned a significant number of votes, and for good reason. They possess a strong, well-rounded team that has consistently performed well against opponents across the state. While they are capable of competing with any team, Davis also has the potential to establish a winning strategy, mirroring the success Coach Sims has achieved repeatedly in the past. Senior [player_tooltip player_id='2539677' first='Cameron' last='Brower'] is having an outstanding season, and [player_tooltip player_id='1611276' first='Bode' last='Sparrow'] is showing significant improvement. Davis is a legitimate and dangerous team to watch, with players like [player_tooltip player_id='1278451' first='JT' last='Turley'] and [player_tooltip player_id='2347358' first='Tradon' last='Bessinger'] to keep an eye on.
