On January 1st-3rd I was at many games around the state watching the Hoophall West at Skyline HS and the NIKE Tournament of Champions at multiple locations in the East Valley.

Here were some Off the Radar players

[player_tooltip player_id='3295560' first='Teylor' last='Caldwell'] Mountain Pointe (Pictured)

A physical and tough wing forward who gets the start surrounded around the young sophomores. He is a football player by nature but he brings that gridiron mentality on the court and he will score thru contact with post ups, layups and rebound plus block shots.

[player_tooltip player_id='2432466' first='RJ' last='Detroy'] Arcadia

A versatile wing forward can score it from inside and out. He can step out and shoot it from the perimeter plus is crafty inside to score it. He uses his left or right hand and is quick to the basket. He is also a very good passer and does a little bit of everything for the Titans.

[player_tooltip player_id='2674067' first='Tyson' last='Cutchen'] Highland

A tall and long post players for the Hawks. He gobbles up rebounds in and out of his area. He is a little lean but fights inside and will block shots in and out of his area. He will score it with spin moves with his dominant left hand and dunk it.

[player_tooltip player_id='2767184' first='Tahli' last='El-Amin'] Chandler

A real point guard got the start in the game I viewed. He has a quick burst to the basket and will score it with floaters and layups. He will hit the three off the catch but he truly tries setting the table for his teammates threading the needle.

[player_tooltip player_id='1591737' first='Daniel' last='Garza'] Willow Canyon

A pure point guard who will make smart reads up the court and will drive and kick it. He was being more aggressive to score with threes off the catch, layups in transition and he will collect steals and rebound. When Garza is scoring, it gives them another weapon you have to stop.

[player_tooltip player_id='2628886' first='Austin' last='Cooper'] Willow Canyon

A tough power forward who has a nose for the ball with a big motor to rebound and gobble up balls in and out of his area. He plays bigger then his size suggests with his length and athleticism. He will score it around the basket effectively.

[player_tooltip player_id='1694989' first='Brody' last='Postorino'] St. Mary's

A highly skilled combo guard handles a lot of the lead role for the Knights. He will score with bursts to the basket and shoot it from the three point line. He makes good reads and will take care of the ball. When he is hitting shots, it makes the team even harder to beat.

[player_tooltip player_id='2466364' first='Gabe' last='Coronado'] Millennium

A transfer from Catalina Foothills has become one of the teams floor spacer. He will catch and shoot it from the three point line. He loves the corner triples and has one of those strokes that look good on every attempt. He smartly does not try anything he can't do and plays within the flow of the offense.
