Holiday Hoops PG Standouts

Over the Holiday break i got to see tons of basketball from Eastern Arizona in Thatcher to Estrella Foothills and finally Nike T.O.C in Mesa Arizona. I seen a huge mix of Arizona hoops from 1A teams to 6A nationally ranked power houses. It was basketball heaven for two weeks. Here are my Point guard standouts from the break.    Delton is a legit point guard in the state and just proved he is a legit point guard on the national level. Delton is the engine behind slopes offense and is a extension of the coach. His IQ and speed makes him a tough guard every night. He has great vision and throws dimes on the pick and roll. Delton is not just a facilitator but a scorer when needed. He goes on personal scoring runs and has the ability to take over the game. Delton had 14pts, 6reb and 5ast in the championship game at Hoop Hall west.     TJ is a speedy athletic guard that sets the tone for a good liberty team. He has a shifty handle and can get down hill at will. He can finish well at the rim with finesse moves and even through contact. He is a good passer and draws and kicks to his shooters. He can score from the outside him self and is a overall threat from all over the court. He has a good IQ and is a leader for his team. TJ averaged 16.5pts, 4.5reb and 4ast over the two games i seen him.     Hashke is a true scoring guard despite being undersized. He is very crafty and plays at a fast pace. He knows how to create space to get his jumpshot off and can even finish at the rim over bigger defenders. He plays with intensity and energy and is all over the court. He can score from all three levels and can make the game easier for teammates with his vision. He had 14pts, 4reb, 4ast and 2stls.     Sergio is a super crafty guard with a nice shooting stroke from the outside. He is a huge impact player on the defensive end and does not back down from a matchup. He has great hands and good feet to cut of players and will even draw a charge. Sergio has a very high IQ and is a constant communicator on the floor. He has deep range from the three and a quick release. He thrives in the open court and has good vision on the break. He had 18pts, 6reb, 3ast and 4stls.     Christian is an elite scoring guard with a sweet jumper. Christian is a fast pace playmaker and thrives in the open court. He has a smooth pull up jumper that he uses well of the pick and roll and has deep range from three. Christian is not scared to pull up and shoot in a defenders face. He has the IQ to set up the offense and slow the game down when needed. He can become a playmaker for others and is a great communicator on the court. Christian had 25pts, 7rebs 3ast and 4stls.     Cam is a very balanced point guard that can beat you in many ways. He runs the offense efficiently and effectively and will take what the defense gives him. Cam has a great jump shot from the outside to the midrange. He has a shifty and tight handle that allows him to get to the rim at will. Cam has great vision both on the break and in the half court. He scores when needed to and is capable of taking over a game. Cam had 19pts, 5reb and 4ast.     Max is a true pass first point that can hit the 3 at a high clip. Max pushes the pace for Arcadia and constantly advances the ball to scorers down the sideline. He is always on the lookout for cutters and makes good decisions. He has a great looking shot from the outside and shoots a high percentage. When he gets hot he can go on scoring runs. Max plays intense defense and brings the energy to both sides of the ball. Max had 13pts, 7ast, 2rebs and 2stls.
