A sharp-shooting guard for MOC-Floyd Valley, the Dutchmen ran several actions strictly to get [player_tooltip player_id='3255104' first='Carter' last='Brightwell'] open on the perimeter. Brightwell is like the Steph Curry of the greater Orange City area, as a player that is constantly in motion and makes opposing defenses have to chase him throughout the entire game.

A lethal shooter from beyond the arc, Brightwell is one of the key cogs in the machine of the MOC-Floyd Valley offense, shooting nearly 50% from deep through the first half of the season.

A 6-foot-8, slim body that can get up and down the court, [player_tooltip player_id='3437328' first='Tyler' last='Moeller'] uses his frame and speed to score at and around the basket. Using his length and quickness to slip by defenders and score at the rim, Moeller is a high IQ big that knows what he's good at, and he uses that to his advantage.

Also a rim-protector, Moeller was called for a foul on what looked like a clean swat of a shot at the rim, showing off the ability to keep guards from getting downhill and scoring easily against the Warriors.

Standing at 6-foot-5, MOC-Floyd Valley's leading scorer might as well be a 6-foot-10, seasoned big at the college level, considering how easily and regularly he scores when he gets a paint touch.

A big that can't be left in one-on-one coverage in the paint, Mulder uses his footwork, size and a smooth hook shot with either hand or a quick floater to get the Dutchmen on the board. Illustrated best by his 12 first quarter points, Mulder was making it look easy on Friday night. Whereas Moeller took advantage of Mulder with his speed, Mulder used his girth, strength and skill to score almost at-will on his counterpart.

One of the better athletes out of Sioux Center as a star on the football field, as well, Braedon Perez Hietbrink is clearly the primary scoring option for the Warriors. The only player for Sioux Center that averages scoring in double-figures (18.4 PPG), Perez-Hietbrink is a smooth guard with a high, quick release from the outside that makes him difficult to guard.

Just a high screen at the top of the key is enough to get him open and comfortable to shoot a triple, and opposing defenders quickly learn they can't go under the screen or play drop coverage against the 6-foot shooting guard.

One of two returning starters from last season's 3A state championship team, [player_tooltip player_id='2887838' first='Carter' last='Van Gelder'] is the engine that makes this MOC-Floyd Valley team go. A consistent playmaker that has the most polished overall game for the Dutchmen, Van Gelder is a calming presence on the court that can slow things down and initiate the offense, but can also serve as your go-to scorer if needed.

Between his ability to facilitate, rebound, put the ball on the floor and shoot it, Van Gelder is playing like he knows he's the leader of the team and the best player on the court.
