Five Prospects to Know From Bowman Academy vs. Illiana Christian

This trip will allow us to see teams and prospects that we haven't seen much, or any, of this season. On Wednesday night we started our trip in Gary, Indiana at Marvin Rea Gymnasium for Bowman Academy versus Illiana Christian. We've heard great things, seen the stats he has put up, and have watched him on film and in the summer, but this was our first opportunity to see him suit up for Bowman Academy. The 6'3" athletic wing got off to a slow start, but then scored 21 of his game-high 26 points in the second half to lead the Eagles to a 58-44 win over Illiana Christian. He is a small, but strong point guard who knocked in three three-point shots in the game and scored 13 points as the Eagles defeated Illiana Christian 58-44. He was able to make some catches inside, but will need to improve as a finisher. Little finished with 5 points in the game. However, the defensive impact was real. That is why we work so hard to see as many different teams in as many different parts of the state though because he is a legit prospect. The 6'9" junior center put up 15 points and 9 rebounds, even while having to sit much of the second quarter after picking up his third foul, for Illiana Christian. He caught everything thrown his way, scored it on the roll, and had a big two-handed dunk in some traffic. Turner is a 6'0" true point guard with great ball handling ability and a poise about him that made him not look like a freshman. He was consistently in control of the game when he had the ball in his hands. Turner finished with an impressive stat line of 8 points, 7 assists, and 6 steals. He projects as a great two-way point guard with legitimate playmaking chops.</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
