This high school season in WV has been rolling for exactly one month and here are some of the under the radar scoring strongholds from across the state who've put together amazing first four weeks in the scoring column.

We've been keeping an eye on Trinity Christian in Morgantown who have two tremendous scorers have emerged. One we had on our radar in [player_tooltip player_id='2686841' first='Austin' last='Porta'] who's at 22ppg through a whopping eight games and alongside him is [player_tooltip player_id='3290698' first='Maddox' last='Mousadis'] who's at 18ppg and are pushing Trinity to state tournament lock status.

[player_tooltip player_id='3245920' first='Iziah' last='Gordon'] is a name we didn't know until December but one we'll hear much more throughout the next few years. He's just under 20ppg for Greater Beckley Christian and could just likely be the best freshman in West Virginia.

How about [player_tooltip player_id='2306132' first='Jesse' last='Kemper'] who's at 21ppg? How many had that on your bingo card to be one of the state's 20+ points per game scorers at this point. We're keeping track of the senior point guard who's shooting a blistering 46% from beyond the arc as well.

[player_tooltip player_id='2711602' first='Taylor' last='Carder'] is leading one of the state's smallest public schools in scoring and currently in the top five scorers total in the entire state at 29ppg after four games.

One of the hottest players in Marion County and in North Central WV is [player_tooltip player_id='2611801' first='Cayden' last='Cooper']. Cooper took his talents across town to East Fairmont and has been on fire ever since. Averaging 22ppg including a 28 point outburst against 4A stalwart Cabell Midland that included hitting 5 triples.

[player_tooltip player_id='3290656' first='Colin' last='Williamson'] is leading the charge for Scott to travel back to Charleston in March. Clicking off 18ppg through five games Williamson has been a handful for opponents during the beginning of his junior year for a young yet poised Skyhawk team.

[player_tooltip player_id='2378511' first='Will' last='Odle'] has been steady for two years for the Roane program and this year is no different. Averaging 18ppg Odle does it with an inside out game that sees him comfortable with the ball almost anywhere.

[player_tooltip player_id='2303410' first='Braylan' last='Dawson'] is a player we've kept an eye on for awhile and in this senior year he's broke out and been the scoring slickster we expected at just under 18ppg. Dawson is one of the LKC Conferences best players hands down.

[player_tooltip player_id='2721085' first='Landon' last='Boggs'] of Tyler has been blistering the nets from three most notably. Averaging 16ppg while shooting a red hot 44% from three. Boggs emergence has allowed the Silver Knights to pick up steam heading into January.

[player_tooltip player_id='3245921' first='Colton' last='Heck'] has become Wayne's top player quite possibly while scoring 18ppg and being one of the teams best rebounders and assist men. Heck has a good surrounding cast who could put the Pios in contention.
