The math doesn't math on Hinton's box score for this game (seven missed 3-pointers but only three missed shots total), but nonetheless, Kempema was awesome against South O'Brien. He was able to get to the rim consistently and score around the bucket, while also showing some ability to step out and stretch the floor. He provides some real versatility on both ends of the floor for the Blackhawks.

2027 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2853853' first='Coy' last='Moline'] (Manson-Northwest Webster) -- 37 points (14-24 FG, 5-10 3P, 4-8 FT), 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 steals, 3 blocks [vs. Paton-Churdan]

A strong, athletic 6-3 guard, Moline showed the ability to score from all three levels against the Rockets, burying five 3-pointers and shooting 57% from the floor while dropping a 37-point, 11-rebound double-double. With his size, athleticism, and toughness, he's capable of defending multiple positions and enforcing his will on the offensive end.

2026 C [player_tooltip player_id='2628806' first='Tyler' last='Baatz'] (Tri-Center) -- 37 points (16-22 FG, 0-3 3P, 5-7 FT), 8 rebounds, 1 steal [at Shenandoah]

Baatz was dominant against the Mustangs, dropping 37 points on highly efficient shooting. A 6-2 forward who has soft hands, good touch around the rim, and uses his strength to carve out quality position, he was great on both ends of the floor in helping keep the Trojans undefeated.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2731645' first='Jayden' last='Harris'] (West Branch) -- 34 points (14-16 FG, 2-4 3P, 4-5 FT), 2 rebounds, 1 assist, 6 steals [vs. Mid-Prairie]

Harris was great in the Bears' blowout win over Mid-Prairie, missing just two shots en route to 34 points. A quick, long 5-10 guard who uses his length and speed to his advantage on the defensive end, he was able to routinely jump passing lanes and turn defense into quick, easy offense.

A high volume scorer, Street scores in bunches for the Green Devils, and he did just that against the Saints, dropping 34 points and doing so in a variety of different ways. He's skilled with the ball in his hands and shoots it really well off both the dribble and the catch.

2028 SG [player_tooltip player_id='2594659' first='Tyler' last='Wedeking'] (Aplington-Parkersburg) -- 30 points (7-11 FG, 3-5 3P, 13-15 FT), 4 rebounds, 4 assists [vs. Grundy Center]

The Grundy Center-A-P game was really well played on both sides, a game showcasing a pair of state tournament-level teams. Wedeking, a sophomore guard from A-P, was great against the Spartans, scoring a highly efficient 30 points, knocking down shots from 3, and getting to the free-throw line routinely.

The 6-4 wing finished just one assist shy of a triple-double in a big win over South O'Brien. He uses his size and length to his advantage on both ends of the floor, seeing over the defense to get his teammates involved and defending multiple positions.

2027 SF Emmett Holohan (Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont) -- 12 points (6-11 FG, 0-2 3P, 9 rebounds, 4 assists, 1 steal, 6 blocks [vs. Pekin]

It has been a rough, up-and-down year for the Rockets, but they seem to be improving. Holohan is one of the bright spots for the group, a 6-3 junior wing who can impact the game on both ends of the floor on a possession-by-possession basis. He showcased his rim protection against the Panthers, turning away six shots.
