2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1765541' first='Conley' last='Schauf'] (Monticello) -- 38 points (11-15 FG, 5-7 3P, 11-12 FT), 7 rebounds, 4 assists, 2 steals [at Northeast]

Schauf is one of the most efficient, explosive scorers in the state, as he showed against a Northeast team that is generally pretty strong defensively. He moves exceptionally well without the ball in his hands, finding open spaces in the defense to burn them with his quick release and unlimited range. He's an all-around dynamic scorer who can do it from anywhere.

2027 SF Cruz Crandall (Panorama) -- 34 points (11-22 FG, 4-6 3P, 8-10 FT), 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal [at Nodaway Valley]

The Panthers picked up their first win of the season last week against Nodaway Valley, and Crandall's performance was the reason why. The 6-0 junior wing was fantastic, scoring from all three levels and controlling the game as a scorer and rebounder throughout.

2027 PG [player_tooltip player_id='2420786' first='AJ' last='Harder'] (Tri-Center) -- 32 points (10-17 FG, 2-5 3P, 10-11 FT), 4 rebounds, 2 assists, 5 steals, 1 block [vs. IKM-Manning]

Tri-Center has been one of the best teams in the class so far this season, and Harder is the primary reason why. An elite athlete who can create plays off the dribble for himself and his teammates, he's an efficient scorer who is able to use his speed and handles to his advantage on a nightly basis. IKM had no answer for his playmaking and shot creation.

2026 PF Gavin Trask (Sumner-Fredericksburg) -- 30 points (13-18 FG, 0-2 3P, 4-4 FT), 13 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal, 2 blocks [vs. Oelwein]

A big 6-4 forward who does a great job using his physical frame to carve out space in the paint, Trask was extremely efficient against an overmatched Oelwein team, scoring 30 points on 72% shooting to go with 13 big rebounds.

2026 SG [player_tooltip player_id='1765547' first='Benny' last='Waller'] (Aplington-Parkersburg) -- 28 points (11-17 FG, 6-10 3P, 0-1 FT), 12 rebounds, 3 assists, 5 steals, 1 block [vs. Hudson]

Waller has missed a significant chunk of the season recovering from injury, but he's back now and showing why he's one of the most dynamic players in 2A. He's a high-level shooter off both the dribble and the catch, contributes on the glass on both ends of the floor, can create off the dribble, and was really good on the defensive end.

2027 PF [player_tooltip player_id='2906478' first='Parker' last='Masteller'] (Jesup) -- 23 points (9-23 FG, 1-2 3P, 4-11 FT), 24 rebounds (12 offensive), 2 steals [vs. Sumner-Fredericksburg]

Masteller has firmly established himself as one of the state's elite rebounders in the 2027 class, and that was on full display against Sumner-Fredericksburg, pulling down an eye-popping 24 rebounds, including 12 on the offensive end. It was the J-Hawks first win of season.

2027 SF [player_tooltip player_id='3344411' first='Bennett' last='Stecker'] (Spirit Lake) -- 23 points (7-11 FG, 2-2 3P, 7-8 FT), 16 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 steal [at Okoboji]

The next in a long line of Stecker boys to come through Spirit Lake, Bennett is an athletic, long 6-5 forward who controls the glass on both ends of the floor, as he did against the Pioneers last week en route to a massive double-double.

2026 SF [player_tooltip player_id='2678903' first='Tate' last='Van Dyke'] (Union) -- 20 points (9-19 FG, 1-2 3P, 1-2 FT), 15 rebounds, 1 steal, 1 block [vs. Wapsie Valley]

A versatile 6-3 wing who can do a little bit of everything on both ends of the floor, Van Dyke was fantastic in a big win for Union over Wapsie Valley last week, putting up a double-double and showcasing his ability to defend multiple positions. He can score inside and out and is tough on the glass, giving the Knights some needed size and toughness.
