He knocked down four threes against St. Mary's and consistently showed his ability to score in bunches.   Beld plays with an ultra-aggressive mindset on the offensive end. He pushes the pace in transition, putting constant pressure on defenses and forcing them to pick their poison. That approach paid off with 14 points against Miramonte and 16 more versus St. Mary's.   Whether it's shooting from deep or attacking early before the defense is set, Payton Beld brings energy, confidence, and scoring punch every time he's on the floor. Limerick stays in attack mode, constantly looking to make plays rather than settling. That approach paid off with a strong 15-point performance against Campolindo, where he consistently created scoring opportunities for himself. Vales showed that control in a strong outing, finishing with 13 points, including 11 in the second half. When the game tightened up, he stayed poised and made plays, picking his spots and attacking when the defense gave him an opening.   With Vales running the show and fellow sophomore guard Jaxon Limerick alongside him, St. Mary's looks to be in good hands moving forward.
