Bossier Parish Invitational Standouts: Part 1

There are teams from Louisiana and Texas competing for bragging rights, and the players have not disappointed in the first two days of competition. He is playing with a chip on his shoulder and his 19 points was vital in the Day 1 Victory. His mid range is more consistent, he is more aggressive and he is embracing the role of scorer and finishing at a high clip. He started the game knocking down a three pointer and over the course of the game he ran the floor, defended at a high level, rebounded on both ends of the court and showed that he has everything required for next level play. Making the game simple is something that seems to make Affi one to watch. he plays hard, rebounds on both ends of the floor, and when given the opportunity to make a play, he finishes. He is big and strong and looks to just be scratching the surface of his potential. He is long, athletic and explosive with a solid handle and trusted jump shot. His 12 points was vital in a big day two win of the invitational. Turner is a top player in the state with tons of upside and his ceiling is yet to be determined. After watching several games, it is clear that he has put in the work to grow his game. He is more consistent when he gets to the rim, and shoots the ball with more confidence. He was solid in the game versus Huntington, and showed that he has what it takes to be a major contributor.
