Bishop Verot Holiday Hoopfest Standouts, Second Five

This high-level tournament produced a lot of exciting games and some great basketball was played throughout the week. He has a tremendous basketball IQ and plays the game with confidence and composure. He has elite handles and tremendous passing ability, but can also score on all 3-levels. He posted back-to-back 16 point games during the tournament, and acts as a true floor general on the court for Lehigh. The 5'10" junior has tremendous handles and keeps his head on a swivel looking for the open man. He has the ability to beat you off the dribble, but really excels behind the arc where he shoots the 3-ball at a very high rate. He plays the game fast yet under control, and is constantly moving on offense, trying to create space for himself. He has the ability to create his own shot, and is also an excellent catch and shoot type of prospect. This prospect has tremendous size and strength for a kid his age, and was a force down low all week for Verot. There were times where he could just not be stopped in the paint, and finished with an impressive 23 points and 11 rebounds in an overtime win over Naples. He started it out with a 19 point, 6 rebound performance in a win over Ferguson, and followed that up with a 16 point, 8 rebound outing in a tough overtime loss to Verot. He is a strong bodied guard who gives it 100% every time he steps on the floor. Bracero isn't just a scorer, he is a gritty defender who never takes a play off, and looks to turn defense into offense. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- /wp:acf/evaluation-block -->
