2025 Muscato All-Tournament Team/Honorable Mentions

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The 2025 Muscato Tournament held at Oliver Ames is always well run and I like watching the development of teams and players each year. Oliver Ames walked away winners in convincing fashion winning the first game 81-55 over Cardinal Spellman and 87-45 over Dighton-Rehobeth in the championship game. Dedham won the consolation game 53-45 over Cardinal Spellman after they had control the entire game but Spellman made it close at the end. Not afraid to take the rock to the rim against the bigs. A great facilitator who can shoot from deep. Great patience, continued to control the pace of play, making the extra pass for a higher percentage shot. Racked up the assists with 13 tonight. Great dribble drive penetration to his game. I love his heart and determination. He could play for me anyday and would love to see him at the next level. A projected D3 player but competes on both ends of the floor. He has good a frame and strength creating difficulties for the defender to keep him in front. He causes a matchup problem in MIAA with his offensive skillset. If he wants to, he can take over the game. He can shoot in transition and took a couple plays coast to coast. When he drives to the rim, playing off two feet was done well in the situations given. He followed multiple shots for offensive boards even from teammate shots. He causes havoc on defense with his length at times getting hands on passes. A projected D3 player with interest from Curry, UMASS Dartmouth among others. I predict a big senior year for him, captain and league all-star. He was tied for team high in assists tonight as well. I enjoyed watching him play and think he will be a good role player for Dedham this season. His effort was one to watch if you are a fan and think he will win some after season banquet award on his effort. A nice scoring threat especially from deep who can take the pressure off the top guys, making Oliver Ames just as dangerous as last year. He gets his shots off quick and decisive when he shoots. He is long and lean which caused problems for the offensive players. He rebounded extremely well tonight. He is a guy worth watching as the season develops, might put his name in league all-star considerations. Also foresee him as a potential captain as well for OA next year.
