As we looked back at the [program_tooltip program_id='2078408' first='Team' last='Rose'] Shootout there were a lot of prospects that outperformed where they are currently ranked in the PHI rankings. Heading into a rankings update in January look for these seniors to make moves!

[player_tooltip player_id='2105396' first='Cameron' last='Mercer'] (Riverside Brookfield – 2026)

Mercer checks in right now at #37 overall and one of the better two guards still available in the class. He was lighting it up in their game against Leo dropping 25 points looking about as good as we have ever seen him. He poured in three triples with his feathery shot to open the game. Later in the game he hit two more off movement. Mixed in a step through and scored on a back cut. D2s need to get on him!

[player_tooltip player_id='2454169' first='Brad' last='Blackman'] (Crane – 2026)

Blackman is a long and athletic combo forward that was an absolute force on the defensive end. One of the best unsigned seniors in the state used his length laterally and vertically on the defensive end. Played above the rim offensively and got to the line. Stock continues to go up as he had 21 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='2433457' first='Jack' last='Dempsey'] (Oak Lawn – 2026)

Dempsey is a player we have always enjoyed watching because of the motor and swag he plays with in addition to his skill level. That was all on display for Oak Lawn as he dropped a cool 26 points scoring in a variety of ways across the board with reverse layups, threes, shot fakes into pull ups.

[player_tooltip player_id='2734444' first='Marc' last='Harvey'] (Oak Lawn – 2026)

The 6'4” forward continues to improve and way out played his ranking in the game we saw as he had 20 points. The length and frame which should allow him to add strength in college stand out. Scored from all three levels in this game with euro steps, finishes out of the dunker spot, and jumpers.

[player_tooltip player_id='2823632' first='Kendall' last='Holliday'] (Curie – 2026)

Holliday is a junk yard dog four man that plays with so much energy, toughness, and athleticism. It honestly intimidated Oswego East from the jump as he was throwing down dunks and pinning shots against the back board along with grabbing every rebound!

[player_tooltip player_id='2823126' first='Joseph' last='Niego'] (Brother Rice – 2026)

Niego was automatic with his shot making in their contest against Lincoln Way East. Absolutely could not miss in the early going pouring in feathery jumpers one after another from both mid-range and three. Showcased soft touch, attacking close outs with shot fakes into runners, and a nice hook shot for 21 points.

[player_tooltip player_id='1552625' first='EJ' last='Hazelett'] (Kankakee – 2026)

Hazelett posted a double double of 21 points and 11 rebounds going head to head in a matchup of the #1 and #2 power forwards in the senior class. Played physical against Porter on both ends. Went up and through him for scores in the paint. Can handle it facing up winning crossing up opponents. Knocked down a pair of threes with a smooth lefty shot. His quickness on his second jump is really good getting points on the offensive glass.
