[player_tooltip player_id='2976977' first='Brady' last='Nick'] of Lincoln High is averaging 25 points through the first three games of the season. He had four threes against Grain Valley and showed why he will be one of the most relentless scorers in Class A this season.

Nick has a great-looking three-ball. He uses his long frame and has a release point right above his head, making it incredibly hard for defenders to contest. Nick is very patient and doesn't let himself get sped up. He takes what comes to him and is a very smart and efficient player. He is also an incredible defender. He provides an immense amount of ball pressure when guarding the ball, forcing multiple turnovers and steals.

Harris has started the season off to a blistering start. Harris had 40 points on over 50% shooting against Sandhills/Thedford last Saturday.

Coming off of a really good Summer, Harris is one of the most confident and electric shooters in this class. He does not need much space at all and will hunt his shots, always forcing a defender to know where he is. Harris is also a great athlete and can get downhill quickly. He isn't afraid of contact, drawing lots of fouls, and is a great free-throw shooter.

Hack exploded for 32 points in a win in his teams first game last Thursday against Elkhorn.

Hack had a huge game in his team's season opener. He hit five threes on great efficiency and was 7-12 from two-point range. Hack showed that he can do it all as a scorer: the three-ball, the mid-range, and strong attacks to the hoop. He also poured in 8 rebounds and four steals, showing that he makes an impact in a ton of different ways for his team. Hack also does a great job keeping his head up and looking for teammates in transition. That is one of the things that was most impressive to me.

After a tough loss in the season opener, Schieffer dropped 25 points against Elkhorn to help Waverly pick up their first win of the season.

Shortly coming off a state championship football run, Schieffer has quickly turned the tide to basketball season, as the 6'5 athlete proved he can be a dominating factor down low. To go along with his 25 points, he also posted 8 rebounds and 3 steals. He proved he is willing to step back behind the arc and stretch the floor as well. One of my favorite things about him is his length near the rim and his ability to alter opponents' shots. Super impressive athlete who will only continue to get better as the season goes on.

[player_tooltip player_id='2542715' first='EJ' last='Swindle'] is the first Freshman on this list and for good reason! In his first ever high school varsity game, Swindle had 24 points and helped his team get the win!

For being his first-ever varsity action, Swindle looked like a veteran out there. Commanding the offense and making very few mistakes. He made 4+ threes on great efficiency and was relentless when driving to the rim, doing a good job of drawing fouls and knocking down free throws as well. He also poured in four rebounds, two assists, and two steals, showing he can do a little bit of it all. Overall, one of the most impressive young prospects across the state, who I can't wait to see continue to grow.
