A nice group of names were Monday Night Stars and it's a good run down of potential all state players, as well a headliner from a big upset.

[player_tooltip player_id='1601068' first='Noah' last='Asuma'] of Cherry. Cherry beat Duluth Marshall 75-57 and [player_tooltip player_id='1601068' first='Noah' last='Asuma'] hit the 2,000 point milestone last night which is a truly history accomplishment. He joins his brother Isaac on that list and I would assume cousin Isaiah is not too far behind.

[player_tooltip player_id='2404942' first='King' last='James'] of Hiawatha Collegiate. The high profile explosive junior led his team to a 115-43 win over Community of Peace and James did a lot of everything with 25 points, eight rebounds, seven assists and five steals in the victory. His numbers included a three and a nice group of highlight finishes.

[player_tooltip player_id='2823917' first='Gunner' last='Liebl'] of Dawson-Boyd. The preseason All State first teamer continues to roll. Liebl, a senior guard, led his team to a 76-66 win over KMS and did it by scoring a game high 30 points in the win. Gunner also grabbed ten rebounds giving himself a double-double, and dished out five assists. Outstanding all around game.

[player_tooltip player_id='1951088' first='Luke' last='Roschen']. The Southwest Minnesota Sate signed guard helped Goodhue take down Kasson-Mantorville 85-59 and Luke had 26 points for the Wildcats. Top team in Class AA continues to play at a high level holding their top spot strongly.

[player_tooltip player_id='2865346' first='Cooper' last='Rutten'] of Pine Island. Cooper is a 5'11 guard that scored 24 points led by three three-pointers as Pine Island pulled off a big upset beating Lake City 87-80. Lake City is a top ten team and many had few expectations for Pine Island so this was a surprising result that Rutten led the effort on.
