The Minnesota Team Rankings: Tartan on an upswing

<!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Week two of the team rankings from Prep Hoops/Breakdown is here and we start with Class AAAA where Tartan has made a big impression to start the season. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p><strong>Weekly Rankings Analysis </strong></p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>The Titans crushed Harding 102-24 and then had a 60-50 lead on Hopkins with just over nine minutes to go when the game was called. I don't know that that is an official game, but I do see that the Hub and Scores counted it as a game (win for Tartan, loss for Hopkins) so for now we will too. But as we have seen in weather delays in football, you can find a date and play the rest of that game at a later date if both sides choose to do so. Also know, [player_tooltip player_id='1550877' first='Jayden' last='Moore'] didn't play in that game but will return for the next Hopkins contest (I would assume).</p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>You can expect that these rankings are going to resort a lot after this week. In addition to the many Breakdown Tip-Off Classic showdowns (this Saturday at Edina), there are some heavy hitting mid-week non conference match-ups as well. </p> <!-- /wp:paragraph --> <!-- wp:paragraph --> <p>Totino-Grace had a good showing as the top team in Class AAA in their first week beating top ten AAAA teams Prior Lake and Apple Valley. Their stretch of big games continues with Maple Grove, Hopkins, CDH and Wayzata next, all in a row!
