LAS VEGAS — Two of California's top teams battled it out in the semifinal of the top division at the Tarkanian Classic Monday afternoon with Redondo Union coming away with a 78-68 win to advance to the Platinum Division championship game. Below are our Ten Best performers from the game.

Best Scorers: [player_tooltip player_id='1956526' first='SJ' last='Madison'], Redondo | [player_tooltip player_id='2646501' first='NaVorro' last='Bowman'], Notre Dame

On Madison - The 6-foot-5 wing did as he pleased offensively with most of his impact coming of strong drives and finishes and his patented mid-range jumper. Madison's combination of physicality, athleticism and aggressiveness in downhill situations made him tough for Notre Dame to contain. The Nevada-bound senior scored a game-high 24 points on an efficient 8-for-14 from the field and connected on two three-pointers.

On Bowman - It's not the easiest task for a guard to go against the Redondo Union defense - and have success at that - but Bowman did as good as one possibly could against the Sea Hawks pressure. The top-ranked 2027 prospect in SoCal scored a team-high 22 points on 9 of 16 from the field and 2-for-7 from three in Notre Dame's loss. Bowman is as savvy and crafty as they come with the ball in his hands and had a number of impressive jumpers and finishes at the rim.

Best Shooters: [player_tooltip player_id='2425679' first='Devin' last='Wright'], Redondo | [player_tooltip player_id='2131810' first='Caleb' last='Ogbu'], Notre Dame

On Wright - Wright is well-known as having an elite skill and, even though opposing teams know he's the best shooter on Redondo's roster, he still manages to get open looks which he knocks down more often than not. The 6-foot-3 unsigned senior is one of the best remaining shooters on the board in Southern California and he knocked down four three-pointers en route to 16 points in the Redondo win.

On Ogbu - Ogbu is a specialist in the sense that, when his feet are set and he has time and space, he's a knockdown perimeter jump shooter. The 6-foot-1 senior, who is among many talented unsigned prospects in the region, hit all three of his attempts from behind-the-arc and pitched in 11 points in the Notre Dame loss.

Best Rebounders: [player_tooltip player_id='1956526' first='SJ' last='Madison'], Redondo | [player_tooltip player_id='2436266' first='Chris' last='Sanders'], Redondo

On Madison - Madison capped his impressive 24-point scoring effort by adding 10 rebounds to his performance which included four offensive boards. The combination of activity, energy and toughness that he plays with results in him being a high-rate rebounder because of his ability to pursue missed shots in and out of his area.

On Sanders - Pound-for-pound there are few wings/forwards who can compete with Sanders physically and athletically, especially in the paint. The 6-foot-4 junior uses his strong lower and upper body to hit first on block outs, root out offensive players and snatches strong two-handed rebounds out of the air at their peak. Sanders grabbed nine rebounds, including six on the offensive end.

Best Playmakers: [player_tooltip player_id='1956470' first='Chace' last='Holley'], Redondo | Zach White, Notre Dame

On Holley - There aren't many players who fit the Redondo Union system better than Holley with his combination of open court speed, paint touch ability and willingness to take a back seat as a scoring option. The 6-foot-1 unsigned senior point guard pushes the tempo with precision, forces defenses to retreat and is unselfish when finding open teammates. Holley dished out a game-high six assists.

On White - The 6-foot-6 forward is a versatile swingman who has his hands in just about every stat category you can think of throughout the game and does it on both ends of the floor. White, who is committed to San Diego State, didn't have his best scoring game (12 points) but made it a point to create easy looks for teammates by dishing out five assists. White is also a defensive playmaker with his length, instincts and his ability to contest and change shots around the basket.

Best Defenders: [player_tooltip player_id='2436266' first='Chris' last='Sanders'], Redondo | [player_tooltip player_id='2646656' first='Dylan' last='Northcutt'], Notre Dame

On Sanders - As we mentioned above, the 6-foot-4 junior has a combination of size and strength that few others in the region have and, when you add in how laterally athletic he is to that mix, you have one of the most versatile defensive players in the area. Sanders can guard 1 through 5 at the high school level and gets his fair share of steals, tipped passes and shots changed around the rim as a help defender. Sanders finished with two steals and a blocked shot in the win.

On Northcutt - When Notre Dame needs to turn up the defensive intensity on a specific player, Northcutt always seems to be the guy whose number gets called. The 6-foot-1 junior is a great ball pressure defender whose lateral speed allows him to contain off the bounce, keep offensive players in front of him and force his assignment into sped up decisions. Northcutt finished with a strong stat-line off the bench with seven points, six rebounds, three assists and two steals.
