LAS VEGAS — We made the trip out to Las Vegas for the last two days of the Tarkanian Classic and took in Platinum and Nike Division action at The Orleans Arena and Bishop Gorman high school. Below are the best shooters we watched.

[player_tooltip player_id='2131810' first='Caleb' last='Ogbu'] | 2026 | Notre Dame

Ogbu was a perfect 3-for-3 from three-point range in Notre Dame's semifinal loss to Redondo. The 6-foot-1 unsigned senior is a consistent spot-up shooter from behind the arc and plays to his role to perfection as a catch-and-shoot threat. Ogbu is a shot-ready guy who moves well without the ball and provides floor spacing for the Knights talented wings and guards.

[player_tooltip player_id='2125364' first='Cooper' last='Harris'] | 2027 | Orem (UT)

Harris showed a versatility to his shooting ability with his consistency and range in catch-and-shoot situations from three-point range but also utilized a shot fake to get into a rhythm pull-up jumper. Harris' shoots a true jump shot with a strong base, good elevation and a fluid release.

[player_tooltip player_id='2425679' first='Devin' last='Wright'] | 2026 | Redondo Union

Wright continues to establish himself as one of the best three-point shooters in California and his ability to stretch the floor in a variety of situations makes him so effective. Wright has the green light to pull early shots in transition, spots up in half-court offense and is a high IQ off-ball mover. The 6-foot-3 shooting guard has picturesque mechanics and knocked down 4-for-9 from distance as Redondo won it semifinal matchup.

[player_tooltip player_id='2436255' first='Jayden' last='Yim'] | 2027 | Corona Centennial

On team full of athletic slashers and finishers, Yim's off-catch and off-dribble shooting abilities are much needed and welcomed. The 5-foot-10 junior has the basketball IQ and ball skills to play on or off the ball which makes him an even more dependable and lethal scoring threat. Yim went 3-for-7 from behind-the-arc as Crean defeated Bishop Gorman in the consolation bracket.

[player_tooltip player_id='2194707' first='Jordyn' last='Houston'] | 2027 | La Mirada

Houston is the perfect pressure release for his talented teammate [player_tooltip player_id='2194355' first='Gene' last='Roebuck'] as Roebuck demands a ton of attention from opposing defenses. The 6-foot-6 forward is a stretch-four type of prospect who hits spot-up threes from the wings and corners and is a capable shooter in pick and pop situations. Houston's three 3-pointers were key in the Matadores semifinal win.

Nic Anderson | 2026 | Layton (UT)

Layton's five-out style offense works perfectly in conjunction with its roster of skilled and high IQ guards and forwards. Anderson's fit with that group is as a guy who can really stretch the floor off the catch and provide another solid ball handler and decision-maker as a secondary point guard. Anderson connected on four three-pointers in the Lancers consolation win over Liberty of Nevada.
